| The development of contemporary Chinese art is limited by time and social factors,leading to deficiencies in our understanding and learning of Western modern art,including sculpture art.Chinese wood carving has always had its own characteristics in history,but with the entry of Western modern art,it has also undergone tremendous changes.In the development of contemporary Chinese sculpture art,these changes have also become more apparent,with stronger expressive and occasional effects.This article aims to explore the development of wood carving art in the context of contemporary Chinese art history.The first section of Chapter One,Introduction,mainly elaborates on the overview of relevant aspects and introduces the history of related research.The second chapter focuses on three types of methods in wood carving to raise more possibilities,but also cannot ignore the issue of contingency,as they reflect the complexity of contemporary art discourse,rather than just a matter of form and form.In Chapter 3,the focus is placed on technical and aesthetic topics,and the concept of contingency is discussed from the perspective of freehand woodcarving.From the freehand woodcarving,we talk about the concept of contingency involved in freehand woodcarving,and how to understand it in art.We introduce the artistic language involved in contingency in woodcarving.The introduction of the third chapter is divided into three sections to explain the generation of the concept of contingency;How to understand and grasp the contingency in woodcarving in the author’s woodcarving creation;Introduce the embodiment of contingency in creative aesthetics.Chapter 4 will delve into the important role of contingency in creation through case studies of several representative artists and their works in "contingency".As a sculptor,we should deeply study the development of contemporary western artistic language and draw essence from it.We should not simply understand the language of artistic forms,but should reflect and study the influx of modern art.In this way,we can truly understand the issue of art,not just about form and form.There are many challenges in contemporary Chinese sculpture art,among which wood carving art is particularly prominent because it has always been a unique feature of traditional craftsmanship.Studying the fortuitousness of wood carving art can help us better understand the importance of artistic language and solve the problem of how to reflect consciousness. |
