Study On The Influence Of Cultural Industry Agglomeration On Regional Innovation Ability In Sichuan Province

With the rapid development of cultural industry and its unique characteristics,cultural industry occupies a more and more important position in the national economy,and has become an important power source of regional innovation development and innovation ability enhancement.In order to understand the specific situation of each province and city more clearly,this paper starts from the level of city and city in Sichuan Province as the research object,to explore the effect of cultural industry agglomeration in each city and city in Sichuan province on regional innovation ability.Therefore,this paper summarizes and sorts out previous relevant literature,and makes an in-depth analysis of the mechanism between cultural industry agglomeration and regional innovation ability.It concludes that cultural industry agglomeration ultimately affects regional innovation ability mainly through influencing factors such as knowledge and technology,human capital and capital in innovation and innovation policy,finance,labor force level and other environmental factors.The specific gravity index(R)and location entropy(LQ)are selected to measure the cultural industry agglomeration level.The results show that the cultural industry agglomeration level of each city and city in Sichuan Province during 2011-2020 is significantly different among different regions.The areas with high cultural industry agglomeration level are mainly concentrated in Chengdu,Mianyang,Nanchong and other areas with good economic development in Sichuan.In terms of measuring regional innovation capability,by constructing an index system and using Entropy-AHP combination weighting method to measure regional innovation capability index,the results show that regional innovation capability of each region in Sichuan Province has been improved in 2020 compared with 2011,and there is a gap between different regions.In addition,based on the panel data of 21 cities and cities in Sichuan Province from2011 to 2020,the regional innovation ability of cultural industry agglomeration has a significant promoting effect,that is,the higher the level of cultural industry agglomeration,the stronger the regional innovation ability.Then,the regional heterogeneity analysis was conducted on the basis of the full sample,and the results showed that the positive impact of cultural industry agglomeration on regional innovation ability only occurred in Chengdu Plain area,but the effect was not significant in other areas.Furthermore,the panel threshold model shows that the influence of cultural industry agglomeration on regional innovation ability has a single threshold effect,which indicates that there is a nonlinear relationship between cultural industry agglomeration and regional innovation ability.Only when the degree of cultural industry agglomeration is higher than the threshold value,the cultural industry agglomeration level will gradually transition from an inadequate primary level to an appropriate level.The influence of cultural industry agglomeration on regional innovation capability changes from insignificant to positive.Finally,based on the theoretical and empirical analysis results,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Appropriately enhance the level of cultural industry agglomeration in various regions,and promote regional innovation ability with the strength of cultural industry agglomeration(2)formulate differentiated strategies for cultural industry agglomeration development according to local conditions(3)Improve the regional education system,improve the level of regional human capital(4)Appropriately expand the intensity of opening up to enhance regional innovation capacity through opening up.
