An important way for cultural innovation to realize the strategy of cultural power is an important means to cope with global cultural competition and expand the living space of national culture in the process of globalization.According to the theory of industrial agglomeration, the spatial agglomeration of cultural industries can not only reduce the cost of enterprises by reducing transportation costs, deepening the division of labors, sharing infrastructure, etc.,release more R&D funds.Meantime, bring strong knowledge spillover and release the innovation vitality of creative personnel. On the other hand, excessive agglomeration of cultural industries may produce crowding effects, innovation inertia, etc.,which is not conducive to cultural industry innovation. Therefore, the relationship between industrial agglomeration and cultural industry innovation has to be studied. As a property rights protection policy, intellectual property protection has different impacts on the innovation ability of cultural industries at different levels of agglomeration.Based on the relevant theoretical basis, this paper sorts out the relationship between industrial agglomeration and cultural industry innovation, and the regulatory effect of intellectual property protection on the relationship between agglomeration and cultural industry innovation, obtains two hypotheses in this paper. And then uses panel data from 30 provinces and Province-level municipalities regions(excluding Tibet)in China’s mainland from 2012 to 2019 to construct a double fixed effect model, and explores the relationship between industrial agglomeration, intellectual property protection and cultural industry innovation. The research results show that:(1)the impact of industrial agglomeration on cultural industry innovation is to promote and then suppress, and there is a significant inverted “U” relationship between the two;(2)The increase in the strong protection of intellectual property rights has prompted the inverted “U” curve between industrial agglomeration and cultural industry innovation to become steeper,That is,before the inflection point, the positive marginal utility of agglomeration on cultural industry innovation increased compared with the original model,And after the inflection point,The negative marginal utility of poly on cultural industry innovation has also increased compared with the original model;(3)The increase in the intensity of intellectual property protection has prompted the inflection point of the inverted “U”curve to shift right, the most suitable agglomeration degree of the cultural industry has arrived later, and the optimal innovation ability of the industry is stronger.Which can alleviate the current dilemma of agglomeration and innovation of the cultural industry in most regions. The study has a certain enlightening effect on the formulation of cultural industry policies by relevant departments. |
