Right-peripheral Reemphasis On Attitude In Spoken Chinese From The Perspective Of Interaction

Considering affective demands,the elements at the beginning of the sentence sometimes are repeated by the speaker to the end of the sentence,which called the phenomenon of right-peripheral reemphasis on attitude,e.g.,"ni you bing ba ni(你有病吧你)" "you zen me le you(又怎么了又)".The essay discusses them in mainly three parts.Part 1:The interactional features in terms of rhyme,structure and position.Part 2:The interactional uses that work as a tag for regulating affective expression,managing speech act,reminding the listener to recheck the rationality.Part 3:Sort out its types and triggers.An investigation of the phenomenon of right-peripheral reemphasis on attitude reveals that it is the product of the multiple forces holding in interaction.Formally,grammar gives way to rhyme.The reemphasis part has a variety of forms,and there are almost no components that cannot be reset from the perspective of the asterisk clause,making it difficult to identify absolute exclusions in terms of grammatical structure types.This is because reemphasis is not limited by grammatical structure and is essentially a product of rhyme inertia.rhyme is a formal representation of evaluative information and referential events.Reset is driven by rhyme,mood fluctuations,and subconsciously completes the process of extracting linguistic codes from the pretext,occurring within a complete intonation unit.Functionally,the semantic use gives way to the interactive use.The reemphasis part,as a copy product,does not add semantic content and does not play an informational function,but the lack of information facilitates the interactive use.With the absorption of the context,the right-peripheral reemphasis on attitude regulate the speaker’s emotional expression and manage the type of speech act,reflecting the subjectivity of the speaker;on the other hand,it attracts the listener’s attention and reminds the listener to re-examine the rationality of the evaluation information and the referred event,showing the inter-subjectivity of the concerned listener.In this process,"economy" and "envy" are balanced.In terms of linguistic form,reemphasis is not an economic practice,but a form of envy,which leaves space for the speaker to express his emotions and time for the listener to respond;in terms of the transfer of emotional load,reset maximizes the expression of subjective and intersubjective meaning,it is the most economical choice.It can be seen that the phenomenon of right-peripheral reemphasis on attitude,as a "sentence-in-processing",is moving from discourse grammar to syntax,and is the interface between grammar and pragmatics.
