The Image Construction Of Cultural Memory In Minority Themes Documentaries

The report of the 20th National Congress pointed out that to promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement and create new brilliance of socialist culture,it is necessary to adhere to the guidance of socialist core values,develop advanced socialist culture,carry forward revolutionary culture,and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and strengthen the protection and inheritance of excellent traditional handicrafts of all ethnic groups.As an important medium of ethnic material and intangible culture,ethnic minority documentaries play an intertextual role in constructing cultural memory.In the context of cultural self-confidence,ethnic minority documentaries have the important value of undertaking ethnic history,preserving ethnic images,telling ethnic stories,and portraying ethnic cultural changes.The theory of cultural memory provides a new direction for the study of ethnic cultural memory.Ethnic minority documentaries construct cultural memory through video narrative to achieve cultural identity and identity.This paper uses the documentary research method and case analysis method to start from the knowledge disciplines of film aesthetics,narratology,anthropology,etc,and discusses how documentary images construct cultural memory through the medium of ethnic minority documentaries.The ethnic minority documentary "Yi Indigo" takes cultural memory as the theoretical basis and analyzes the image construction strategy of cultural memory from the perspective of narrative and audio-visual.This paper is divided into four chapters to study the image construction strategy of cultural memory.The first chapter expounds the theory of ethnic minority documentaries and cultural memory,summarizes the development process of ethnic minority documentaries and cultural memory theory,summarizes the characteristicsand connotations of ethnic minority documentaries and cultural memory theory,and answers the intrinsic relationship between ethnic minority documentaries and cultural memory.Chapter 2 analyzes how ethnic minority documentaries construct cultural memory from the perspective of narrative,and discusses the construction of cultural memory from the perspective of narrative structure and narrative mode.Chapter 3 expounds the role of lens and music in the construction of cultural memory from the audiovisual of ethnic minority documentaries.Chapter 4 analyzes how his personal work "Indigo" constructs cultural memory in terms of narrative and audiovisual aspects.Finally,the documentary value and cultural memory of minority documentaries are summarized,and the prayer for protecting and developing ethnic culture and promoting the development and innovation of ethnic culture is conveyed,which is of benefit.
