Research On The Calligraphy Art Of Tang "Zhitong Tower Inscription"

As a supplement to the calligraphy and ink in the Tang Dynasty,the epitaph and tower inscription of the regular script in the Tang Dynasty have always been valued by calligraphers.However,for the epitaph and tower inscription of running script,due to the concept of calligraphers,their attention is not enough,and it is also an important supplement to the calligraphy and ink in the Tang Dynasty,which has important reference value for us to learn the running script of the Tang Dynasty.The ’ Zhitong Tower Inscription ’ studied in this paper is a tower inscription of the Tang Dynasty.Its artistic characteristics are rich and unique,and it is not eroded by the wind of the times.It pursues the mountain Yin,integrates many techniques,and writes naturally.The whole shows a sense of informality and innocence.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter briefly describes the origin and function of the tower inscription and the relationship between the epitaph and the tower inscription,then introduces the background of the ’ Zhitong Tower inscription ’,and finally describes the basic information of the inscription and the collection of rubbings.The second chapter first analyzes the artistic characteristics of ’ Zhitong Tower Inscription’ from four aspects : brushwork,structure,character group and composition,and then compares it with Tang Taizong ’s ’ Wenquan Inscription ’,Huairen ’s ’ Ji Wang Sheng Jiao Xu ’ and Li Yong ’s ’ Li Sixun Inscription ’ to explain the technical integration of this inscription.The third chapter mainly combines its own practice of learning books.Firstly,it conducts systematic and targeted copying training on ’ Zhitong Tower Inscription ’,and then flexibly applies the technical characteristics of ’ Zhitong Tower Inscription ’ to its own’ Mingxin Shaotang ’ series of creations.
