Research On Wu Kuan’s Running Script Art

Wu Kuan,the pioneer of the Wumen School of Calligraphy in the Ming Dynasty,his calligraphy concept and calligraphy level should not be underestimated,his calligraphy ideas of following the Song Yuan and observing Wei and Jin from afar guided him to deeply study the calligraphy art of Su Shi in the Song Dynasty,becoming a typical calligrapher who learned Song calligraphy at that time,and had certain reference significance for calligraphers in the Ming Dynasty and even later.This paper mainly explores the characteristics of Wu Kuan Running script calligraphy art by summarizing and organizing his works,and at the same time begins a series of works on the basis of understanding the characteristics of Running script art.The first chapter mainly analyzes the causes of Wu Kuan Running script book style and summarizes Running script works;The second chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of Wu Kuan Running script from the technical level,mainly focusing on the three aspects of using the pen,knotting characters,and chapter method: dignified and dignified Line and dashing and smooth cursive.The third chapter is the process of the author’s practice of calligraphy,and at the same time,it also involves the summary and reflection of personal calligraphy learning,In the "Jing Xie Kuan He " series of creation,first of all,the author introduces the creative works of this series from the two parts of creative conception and creative process,mainly including the selection of copying before creation,the selection of creation tools and creative content,and at the same time specifically introduces the creation of the "Jing Xie Kuan He" series from the technical level,and finds problems,summarizes and reflects in the process of creation,and summarizes the unique view of learning books and creation.
