The concept of mascot has existed for a long time in human history,and has always been the psychological sustenance in people’s hearts to pray for happiness and well-being.With the development of economy,many enterprises gradually incorporate this concept into marketing to pull the distance between brands and consumers.The new business philosophy has regarded the enterprise visual identification system as a key link,and has produced many excellent cases.This paper studies and discusses how to design a reasonable corporate mascot.The first chapter describes the definition and source of corporate mascots,affirms the rationality of the existence of corporate mascots from the perspective of human history,and explains the necessity of the existence of corporate mascots from the perspective of commercial competition,as well as the principle that mascot design must conform to public aesthetics.The second chapter specifically analyzes the positive factors that corporate mascots can bring to the brand through successful cases,and is a key system for conveying corporate connotation,further proving that corporate mascots are indispensable in brand building.The third chapter analyzes how to design an excellent mascot image from the perspective of visual design,and demonstrates how to implement it in specific operations from the perspective of shape,expression,and color.The fourth chapter applies the conclusions obtained from the analysis to practical creation,explains the design concept of the mascot "Xiaorun",and carries out extended design.Practical creation cases are used to create reasonably designed corporate mascots. |
