With the development of new media technology and digital economy,people pay more attention to the visiting experience of museums.At present,some museums lack in-depth insight into the audience in terms of exhibition and presentation methods and information transmission,and users lack immersive experience.In order to meet users’deep experience needs for museum visiting,this paper takes Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass as the research object and introduces the situational cognition theory to optimize and improve its mobile navigation service experience,enhance the interactivity of museum visiting and enhance the audience’s sense of experience.Firstly,this paper systematically analyzes the research status of situational cognition theory and mobile navigation through literature research method,and analyzes the existing mobile navigation and similar products in Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass through case analysis method,so as to clarify the necessity of introducing situational cognition theory.Secondly,through field research,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview of users,user portraits and user journey maps of three types of visitors,namely those who are taught through lively activities,those who are playing by punching cards and those who are studying and researching,are drawn to identify the pain points of current users in the process of visiting Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass,such as the lack of fun and interactive experience.The KANO model was used to prioritize user needs,and four requirements for the whole process of Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass service experience,immersive cultural relic explanation,interesting learning activities and personalized interactive experience were summarized.Thirdly,the user situation,story situation,task situation and environment situation of Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass are analyzed,the model construction of integrating situational cognition theory into the mobile navigation of Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass is carried out,and the situational construction thinking and design strategy of the mobile navigation of Qinhuangdao Museum of Glass are put forward.Finally,based on the proposed strategy,the design practice and effect evaluation of the "Treasure Hunting Qin Bo" mobile navigation are carried out.The integration of the situational cognition theory can make the mobile navigation become the guide to help the knowledge understanding and memory in the museum,provide the audience with convenient visit and immersive experience of quality service in the form of interaction and sharing,transform the original unilateral passive acceptance of museum information transmission into active exploration of museum information,and build the online and offline integration of quality experience.
