The development of subway is an inevitable trend to alleviate urban traffic problems.The subway passenger flow is complex and huge.The closed underground environment and miscellaneous information often make passengers feel lost.The subway guide sign shoulders the task of providing passengers with quick information.The field investigation shows that the design function of the subway guide sign in Hohhot is reasonable,but the wayfinding effect and user experience are not good.Therefore,the optimization of oriented signs becomes an urgent problem to be solved.Based on this,the situational cognition method is proposed to design oriented signs and improve user experience.User experience design makes it easy for users to recognize,understand and use the guiding signs in the space.The formation of user needs depends on the environment and other situational factors.The application of situational cognition can effectively improve the pathfinding performance and pay attention to the needs of user experience.The overall design is mainly divided into the following stages:First,the current development and application status of situational cognition and guiding signs at home and abroad is reviewed,and the value of situational cognition to improve the user experience of subway guiding signs is summarized.Secondly,the design model of user situational experience is constructed to find out the influencing factors of user experience in situational cognition,and the model is built based on the experience layer,situation layer and design layer.Finally,the design strategy of user situational experience oriented sign is clarified,and the design principle is proposed through the division of design elements.The Qingcheng Metro oriented sign is taken as a case to carry out user experience design practice,and finally the design scheme is displayed and verified.Through bibliometric and qualitative research,the research design finds the core categories that affect user experience in situational cognition,and creates a design model of user situational experience to solve the problem of designing behavioral norms from the perspective of user situational.At the same time,the mapping of the design model into the oriented sign design helps to optimize the design and verify the feasibility of the design practice in the case application,which improves the user experience when using the oriented sign to a certain extent and enriches the scientific design of the relevant application scenarios. |
