| With the application and development of digital technology, the guide system of the natural history museum shows the trend of digitization.AR tour,as an important part of a digital tour,is the main communication medium between museum visitors and exhibits. However, the application of AR tour in the natural history museum still has the problems of user learning dilemma and conceptualization cognition of digital display content out of context.Situational cognition theory is a dynamic learning model in the interaction between individuals and environment. It emphasizes the reconstruction of external information in a specific context and can systematically solve the cognitive dilemma of AR tour in natural history museums. Therefore, based on the theory of situational cognition, this paper conducts a systematic study on AR tour of natural history museum,in order to guide the creation of natural history museum tour.First of all,it focuses on the theoretical consideration of contextual cognition theory to museum navigation system. The cognitive structure of natural history museum is covered theoretically by the tacit, situational and constructive aspects of situational cognition theory. The situation dilemma of the lack of effective guidance, cognitive education and interactive experience between the subject and object of natural history museum is sorted out.Clarify the design objectives of the augmented reality navigation system to meet the emotional needs of the audience, promote the construction of context and build a learning community.Secondly, the characteristics of augmented reality guided tour system of Natural history museum under the theory of situational cognition are summarized. In the subdivided audience, grasp the contradictions and conflicts of adolescent users’ thinking, and clarify the particularity of augmented reality guided tour audience; In the field space,it focuses on the selection of exhibits and the connection of display information to form the internal logic of the navigation system and become the best medium for efficiently conveying information. In cognitive construction, the two-way communication between subject and object and the transfer of cognitive learning can be realized through the guidance, construction and feedback of user cognition in a specific context. Then, based on the above analysis, three stages are proposed to form the design method of the augmented reality navigation system of the Natural History Museum: the metaphor introduction stage starts from the function and interaction level of the navigation system, and the users adapt to the navigation system and gradually immerse in the viewing stage; In the flow experience stage, gamification strategy is introduced to guide users to the interactive and emotional sublimation of visiting museums. In the meaning construction stage, the user is assisted to become the meaning builder of the navigation system, and the self-cognition is reshaped after the behavior triggered by the change of cognition,so that the user has a deep cognition of the content service carried by the navigation system. Finally, based on the above theoretical achievements and design methods of situational cognition, the design conception, prototype interface design and augmented reality model design and production process of the augmented reality guided tour of the museum of Natural History are guided, and the creation of the augmented reality guided tour of the Long River of Life theme pavilion of the Shanghai Museum of Natural History based on the situational cognition theory is carried out. |
