Franz Schubert was one of the most outstanding composers of the Classical period,opening up a new path for early Romantic music and regarded as a representative of early Romantic music.While inheriting the piano sonata created by Beethoven in the classical period,he also made new exploration and development of the classical sonata,which gradually became Schubert’s unique creative style.As Schubert’s last sonata before his death,D960 Piano sonata in B flat major not only absorbs the creative characteristics of classical piano sonata,but also shows Schubert’s personalized creative approach,which is his masterpiece.The entire song is rich in emotions,full of Schubert’s longing and love for life during his lifetime,and also contains thoughts and emotions about life.This work is known as the pinnacle of sonata for piano in the Romantic period,and is also one of Schubert’s greatest works.This paper takes Schubert’s "Piano sonata in B flat major" D960 as the research object,aiming to explore the music creation characteristics and performance skills of this work.Through his own concert performance and understanding of music score,this paper summarizes some creative characteristics of Schubert’s integration of classical sonata and music in the romantic period,and how to better interpret music and overcome technical problems when playing this music.The full text is divided into three chapters.Firstly,it introduces Schubert and his piano music creation,and the creation stages of piano sonata.Secondly,through the analysis of music score and the understanding of the creation background of the works,the author analyzes Schubert’s innovation in the B-flat sonata from the aspects of musical form structure,music style,harmony and tonality.Finally,some suggestions for analysis and interpretation of performance techniques such as touch keys,speed and force control,and pedals were proposed.To provide some reference and guidance for performers who need to understand this classic work,in order to better interpret this musical work.
