Research On The Application Of Cloud Method In Modern Freehand Landscape Painting

Under the influence of traditional philosophy,Chinese landscape painting has formed the theory of "external teacher creation,inner source of heart",and has become an extremely important creative principle practiced by landscape painters.As a magical object of nature,clouds also have the characteristics of Chinese ink painting,and many painters are fascinated to show them in Chinese landscape painting,so the cloud method in traditional techniques has been born.Cloud expression techniques are constantly evolving and enriching with the times and philosophical changes.This paper briefly describes the origin of the cloud method,completes the transformation of cloud pattern to cloud method from natural meteorology to painting,and sorts out the development context of "cloud method" in ancient landscape painting,and then integrates the data collected in the early stage,summarizes the cloud method in landscape painting,and finds that the main ones are the cloud method,the cloud dyeing method and the white space method.At the same time,the application of cloud method in modern freehand landscape painting,as well as the role of spatial layout and creating the artistic conception of the picture in landscape painting are studied.By studying and analyzing the uniqueness of cloud method in landscape painting by modern and contemporary painters,this paper concludes that they have created new cloud method schemas and expression techniques on the basis of the traditional foreign master’s creation.Through the research and summary of the "cloud method" in modern freehand landscape painting,this paper attempts to comprehensively use the various knowledge created by the "cloud method" on the basis of predecessors to complete the original work.
