The ecological environment in which humans live is constantly deteriorating,and people have gradually realized the importance of ecological restoration in the long history of development.Under the influence of social movements,disciplinary development,and technology,artists have launched ecologically conscious artistic practices to declare their ecological demands.In the 1990s,an artistic action——ecological art—gradually emerged.With the development of art media and the renewal of creation methods,plants are widely used in the field of art as a creative language medium.From the perspective of the development of ecological art practice,plants have always been the objects that artists cannot avoid.Starting from the land art and environmental art with ecological awareness in the 1960s,plants have always run through and appeared in various ecological issues,and the practical phenomenon of using "plants" to convey ecological awareness has become an initial common choice of ecological art.This article will use plants as the language medium to carry out a specific analysis of "plants",so as to study the creative methods of conveying ecological views through plants in the practice of ecological art.The structure of this article closely follows the theme.The first chapter sorts out the evolution and development of ecological art,and gradually discusses the basic forms of plants in ecological art and the practical characteristics of ecological art from typical cases according to the time frame.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of ecological art practice with specific cases,and analyzes the plants in ecological art from multiple dimensions from the perspective of plants as creative materials and plant intelligence.The third chapter will start from the individual art creators,describe and introduce the three creative methods of "re-naturalization of the artist’s body,empathy between humans and plants,and standing in the perspective of plants".The fourth chapter starts from the perspe.
