| China has been a great nation with a foundation in agriculture since ancient times.Rural culture is the source of excellent traditional Chinese culture and an important pillar of the firm cultural confidence in socialism with Chinese characteristics.Against the backdrop of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society and embarking on a new journey of socialist modernization,the importance of rural revitalization strategy has become increasingly prominent.As the soul of rural revitalization,rural culture is closely related to the cultural well-being of hundreds of millions of farmers and the overall rural revitalization strategy.While rural economy is flourishing,material civilization is advancing rapidly,and the material living standards of farmers are steadily improving,the development of rural culture,for various reasons,has lagged behind.The growing spiritual and cultural needs of rural residents are not being met.The revitalization of rural culture faces significant challenges and has become an important issue of concern and research for party committees and governments at all levels,academia,and other practitioners.This article conducts an investigation and research on rural cultural construction in Xiqiuwan Township,Badong County,Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture,Hubei Province.It clarifies and analyzes the real difficulties and main reasons it faces: the backwardness of rural public cultural service system,serious imbalance in cultural supply,monotonous and conservative forms and contents of cultural activities,and lack of innovation.The loss of cultural subjects and the lack of cultural confidence have led to the resurgence of feudal superstitions,social bad habits,and the gradual decline of excellent traditional culture.The mechanisms for building a cultural talent pool and ensuring their development are not sound,resulting in a lack of talent vitality and work motivation.Insufficient attention to cultural construction,inadequate financial investment,unreasonable resource allocation,and difficulty in effectively carrying out cultural construction work are also prominent issues.Chinese-style modernization is a modernization that coordinates material civilization with spiritual civilization.In order to ensure the scientific,accurate,and long-term development of rural culture and keep pace with the times,based on the research results of cultural construction in Xiqiuwan Township,this article proposes corresponding solutions:strengthen ideological and political guidance,firm rural cultural confidence,and consolidate internal development momentum;strengthen the construction of diverse subjects and promote the coordinated participation of grassroots governments,Party members and cadres,cultural teams,farmers,and new and old elites;deepen the reform of rural cultural service supply system,strengthen institutional construction,cultural talent development,and public cultural infrastructure construction,create distinctive cultural brand projects,and provide high-quality cultural services and products;enrich the forms and contents of public cultural activities,promote the comprehensive development of rural residents,and create a harmonious social atmosphere.Finally,through the creative transformation and innovative development of rural culture,the current cultural development dilemma can be reversed,and rural cultural revitalization can stimulate industrial revitalization,talent revitalization,ecological revitalization,and organizational revitalization.This will provide strong impetus for building a socialist modern rural area,constructing a strong agricultural country,achieving the second centenary goal,and providing surging energy. |
