During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the tributary relationship between the Chinese and Korean was established, and a large number of Koreans came to China, leaving behind relevant written records of travel, including "Chaotian lu","Yan Xing lu" and "Piaohai lu".Based on the method of comparative literature imagology, this thesis studies the travel works of North Koreans from 1368 to 1895.Starting from Jiangnan in the historical exchanges between China and North Korea, focusing on analyzing the image of Jiangnan in the eyes of Koreans coming to China,so as to outline the complex cultural emotions behind the writing of Koreans in China, and then analyze the role of Jiangnan image as a bridge and intermediary of Chinese image on the construction of China’s image from an extraterritorial perspective. This thesis is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part explains the word "Jiangnan" and the text used to travel, sorts out the current research situations at home and abroad, and expounds the significance and research ideas of this thesis. The first chapter mainly discusses "Jiangnan writing and cultural experience in Korea",and on the basis of combing "Jiangnan in the history of cultural exchange between China and North Korea",it focuses on analyzing the cultural tone of Sino-Korean exchanges during the Ming and Qing dynasties,as well as the travels of representative figures in Jiangnan. The second chapter focuses on "the rich picture of Jiangnan image writing",starting from the travel and travel works of Koreans who come to China, analyzes the images of Jiangnan written in different identities and different eras, grasps the complex emotions behind the writing of Jiangnan landscapes,Jiangnan characters, and Jiangnan system and customs by Koreans in China, and then expounds the depictions and praise of China’s military strength, economic development, and cultural prosperity by Koreans in China, and criticizes the phenomena of reverence for Buddha and relaxation of etiquette. The third chapter explores "Multidimensional Writing Strategies for the Image of Jiangnan" and analyzes the important role played by different strategies in presenting the image of Jiangnan: First, the uniqueness of the landscape and customs of the Jiangnan region is highlighted by the comparison between China and North Korea and the northern and southern regions of China.Secondly, different artistic techniques are used to present the prosperous and prosperous Jiangnan scene. Finally, with the description of "live broadcast" and "retrospective",it shows the multi-faceted and profound heritage of Jiangnan’s image. The fourth chapter excavates the "cultural metaphor of the image construction of Jiangnan",and explores the expression of national consciousness behind the image construction of Jiangnan by Koreans who call themselves "Little China",their identification with Chinese culture, the emotional pull of complex contradictions in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the reflection and examination of their own culture. The epilogue section summarizes the content of this article. The "image of Jiangnan" in the eyes of Koreans coming to China is a supplement to the "China image",which is produced along with the exchanges between China and North Korea.Starting from their different identities and experiences of Jiangnan, they show the complex background of The Times and the relationship between China and North Korea by shaping the image of Jiangnan, and reveal the contradictory and complex emotional relationship behind the image of Jiangnan and the writer: different emotional attitudes towards the Ming and Qing dynasties, identification with Chinese culture,self-examination and national pride as "Little China".At present, there is still much room for development in the study of "Jiangnan image" in this period, and we can continue to discuss the relationship between different Jiangnan writing and Chinese image dissemination in the East Asian world,as well as the image of China in the world map.
