With the rapid development of technology and the Internet,we have entered the digital era.Digital capabilities have become an important skill for human survival and development,and become increasingly important.People’s research on digital capabilities is more in-depth and extensive.At present,as an important part of higher education,the research on digital ability for graduate students in colleges and universities is not enough,especially the research on Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is still in its infancy and exploration stage.As a future teacher of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,the Masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is equivalent to training future Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,which has an important impact on International Chinese Language Education.In order to better cultivate the digital ability of the Masters of Chinese International Education,attract attention from all parties,and effectively improve students’ familiarity,we urgently need to study the current status of the digital ability of the Masters of Chinese International Education.Based on the above situation,based on the European Union’s digital capability framework,combined with the current research situation at home and abroad,we summarized the elements of graduate students’ digital capability,determined the relationship between indicators and elements,and constructed the evaluation criteria for the digital capability of the masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages;Secondly,taking full account of the professional characteristics and needs of the major of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,we have formulated the evaluation index of the digital ability of the masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,and investigated the current situation of the digital ability of the masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from the three dimensions of digital awareness,digital technology and digital needs;By using the methods of literature analysis,interview and network survey,268 masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at home and abroad were surveyed through the online questionnaire platform of Questionstar,and some of the respondents were interviewed and recorded.The comprehensive level,existing problems and causes of the current digital ability of the masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages were analyzed and discussed in depth,and the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures were given.The overall level of digital ability was good,Based on the conclusion that some digital abilities need to be improved,the reasons for the problems are speculated through interviews;Finally,according to the reasons and problems,suggestions and measures are put forward from the three levels of school,teachers and students.Schools should improve the curriculum of digital ability,pay attention to the training of practical digital ability of masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,pay attention to the construction of International Chinese Language Education,improve the construction of university infrastructure and strengthen the supervision of education management.Teachers should establish the concept of Educational Informatization,carry out student-oriented teaching,improve their own digital literacy,adapt to digital teaching,optimize course content,encourage classroom practice,train students’ practical digital ability,and strengthen the correct digital concept guidance;Students should establish concepts,strengthen internal drive,make good use of tools,improve efficiency,information security and strengthen protection.The cultivation of digital ability requires schools,teachers and students to improve and form a joint educational effort,combine talents training with self-improvement,jointly improve the digital ability and self-accomplishment of the masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages,and cultivate innovative talents in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
