On November 20,1937,the National Government officially issued the "Declaration of the National Government’s Move to Chongqing",with Chongqing as China’s wartime capital,Chongqing’s political,economic and cultural status was quickly elevated to the center of the country,and the war of resistance entered a critical period.Faced with the intensification of Japanese imperialist aggression,it became a priority to mobilize the people to join the war by making propaganda in the rear,and various parties and circles in the accompanying capital adopted various ways to propagate the war to the people.This paper mainly studies the propaganda subject,propaganda policy,propaganda content,propaganda carrier and characteristics,as well as the propaganda impact and effect of the wartime Chongqing slogans and slogans,in an attempt to present a more comprehensive propaganda situation at that time.There were many propaganda subjects of Chongqing slogans and slogans during the Comprehensive War of Resistance,including the central party and government agencies,local agencies in Chongqing,and social groups in Chongqing.In the process of playing the role of propaganda,slogans and slogans also gradually produced corresponding policy regulations and specific requirements,towards standardization and diversification.The slogans and slogans in Chongqing during the war mainly centered on the two major phrases of "building a nation through resistance" and "leader worship",mobilizing the public and consolidating the anti-Japanese national united front through slogans and slogans targeting different propaganda targets.By using slogans and slogans in the economic,political,cultural and social management fields,the government strived to build a large rear area centered on the "accompanying capital" and achieved the purpose of supporting the front line from the rear.The propaganda means of slogans and slogans in wartime produced a variety of propaganda carriers,and has a wide range,popularity,flexibility and mass characteristics,conducive to slogans and slogans to expand its propaganda.The propaganda impact of slogans and slogans was not only to mobilize national anti-war sentiment and strengthen people’s confidence in the war,but also to inspire people to contribute money and charity sales to help the war front;at the same time,slogans and slogans in political rallies and commemorative congresses also became an important tool to build the legitimacy of the regime;in addition,slogans and slogans of social management in areas such as anti-smoking and sanitation campaigns were conducive to transforming Chongqing In addition,social management slogans,such as anti-smoking and sanitation campaigns,helped transform the urban environment of Chongqing,thus creating a new image of the wartime capital.However,in the process of using slogans and slogans,the Kuomintang and the national government exposed problems such as divergent opinions within the ruling party,inconsistent formulation institutions,impractical content,and obvious formalistic and coercive features,which greatly weakened the propaganda power of slogans and slogans,and this also provides important insights for our slogan propaganda work in the new era.
