| According to the English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the 2022 edition of the English Curriculum Standards),students should form a sense of language communication and accumulate language experience through perception,experience,accumulation and use of English in practical activities,so as to carry out meaningful dialogue and communication.According to the requirements of the 2022 version of the English Curriculum Standard,teachers should be good at exploring and transforming the educational value of English dialogue teaching,pay attention to the principal position of students in English dialogue teaching,fully give students the opportunity to have free dialogue,and return to the thinking of students’ oral English expression ability from the standpoint of students’ language ability development.So as to promote the development of English comprehensive practice ability of high grade students in primary school.At present,most of the research on dialogue teaching focuses on the theoretical level,and there are relatively few specific studies on the practical level and combined with the English in the senior section of primary school.To integrate dialogue teaching into English class is the key to improve the oral English expression ability of senior students in primary schools.Based on this,this study takes the senior English dialogue teaching in A Primary school in Hohhot as the research object,and studies the current situation of senior English dialogue teaching in this school through questionnaire survey,interview,classroom observation and other research methods.The related materials collected are sorted out,analyzed statistically,and strive to put forward optimization strategies on the basis of revealing the problems and causes.This paper is divided into the following five parts: the first part is the introduction,mainly including the research background,research purpose and significance,research ideas,research methods,literature review.The second part is about the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of dialogue teaching in primary schools.It defines the concepts of dialogue,dialogue teaching and dialogue teaching in primary schools,and expounds the constructivism teaching theory,postmodernism teaching theory and IRF classroom discourse structure.The third part is an analysis of the current situation of English dialogue teaching in senior section of A Primary school in Hohhot,which is analyzed from three aspects: questionnaire survey results,classroom observation results and interview results.The overall implementation of English dialogue teaching in senior section of this primary school is good.Teachers can not only provide students with a good demonstration,but also make timely evaluation and guidance on students’ classroom performance.However,there are still some dialogues in which students’ main role is not fully brought into play;The topic of dialogue teaching is not clear;The boundaries of important and difficult points in dialogue teaching are fuzzy;Dialogue teaching method is single;The dialogue teaching evaluation system is not perfect,and students are not active in answering questions and do not take the initiative.The fourth part is the analysis of the causes of the current situation of English dialogue teaching in A primary school in Hohhot,which mainly includes the teachers’ lack of an all-oriented view of students;The teacher’s study of the curriculum standard is not thorough;Teachers pay little attention to students’ daily experience;Teachers’ reflection on dialogue teaching is not deep enough;The limitation of students’ own oral English level.The fifth part is the optimization strategy of English dialogue teaching in the senior section of primary school,which mainly includes teachers should establish the correct dialogue teaching concept;Teachers should study the text and dig out the meaning of the theme;Gradient teaching centering on the key and difficult points of dialogue teaching;Use flexible and diverse dialogue teaching methods;Implementation of "personality + diversity" evaluation.The sixth part is the conclusion.In conclusion,this thesis is based on the practical analysis of the English dialogue teaching in the senior section of A Primary school in Hohhot,hoping to provide some valuable references for the theoretical research and practical exploration of English teachers. |
