English is one of the most widely used international communication languages in the world.With the deepening of the “Belt and Road”cooperation and the“Community of Shared Future”proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping,China’s communication with other countries has become increasingly close,and English as a language of international communication has become particularly important.The ultimate goal of learning English is to use language communication,and oral communication ability is one of the goals of English teaching and one of the necessary abilities of high-quality talents,it is a necessary guarantee for people of all countries to communicate with each other.The research shows that the language central nervous system of children aged6-12 is very developed,which is a critical period for language learning and an important beginning stage for cultivating the oral English communicative ability of primary school students in compulsory education.Through the investigation and research on the current situation of the cultivation of oral English communication ability of the senior pupils in F Primary School of Nanning city,this study analyzes the main problems existing in the cultivation process,and finally puts forward some suggestions for these problems.This study is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background,research significance,research ideas,research problems and research methods of the topic,and explains the reasons for the topic,the main problems of the research and the methods used in the research.The second part is literature review.This paper focuses on the research of English core literacy,oral English teaching and oral English communicative competence in primary schools.The third part is the definition of relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Related concepts include the components of core English literacy and the definition of oral English teaching and oral English communicative competence;The theoretical basis includes the ideological connotation of English subject core literacy,acquisition and learning difference hypothesis theory and Swain’s output hypothesis theory.The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of senior English communicative ability in F Primary school.It mainly includes survey design,data collection and collation,and analysis of survey results of culture status.The fifth part is the main problems existing in the current investigation and analysis of the causes.This paper mainly analyzes the main problems and their causes in the process of training from three aspects: school,teachers and students.The sixth part is the cultivation strategy of senior primary school students’ oral English communicative ability.The main content is to put forward improvement strategies for the problems existing in the training process from the three aspects of the school,teachers and students: the school should create the cultural atmosphere of oral English communication;Readers’ theater is established to provide an immersive teaching atmosphere for senior students.Stimulate the internal motivation of students’ oral communication and promote the development of abstract thinking.The seventh part is the conclusion.It mainly includes research conclusions,deficiencies and future prospects.After the investigation and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn: The investigation found that there are some problems in the training process of oral English communication ability of senior primary school students.(1)the school lacks the environment of oral English communication;(2)Teachers’ cultivation of students’ oral English communicative ability is monotonous;(3)Students have a strong sense of communication,but have no opportunity to express or cannot express.In view of these problems,several strategies are put forward.In view of these problems,some improvement strategies are put forward :(1)schools should create more cultural atmosphere of oral English communication.(2)Establish readers’ theater to provide an immersive teaching atmosphere for senior students.(3)Stimulate the internal motivation of students’ oral communication and promote the development of abstract thinking.
