The continued promotion of rural regeneration has opened up new opportunities for development through the development of the culture industry.As an important symbol of national and ethnic historical and cultural achievements,an important part of excellent traditional culture is intangible cultural heritage.Building cultural self-confidence has encouraged the development of the IP sector.The IP image design of intangible cultural heritage is of great significance for its inheritance and protection.It condenses rich historical connotations into the IP image design,enhances cultural heritage,and also contributes to the long-term development of the IP industry.The paper mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis,case analysis,field survey,interview,and questionnaire survey.The paper analyzes the research background and current research status of IP image design of Huaiyang Mud Dog,intangible cultural heritage as part of rural regeneration,clarifies the meaning and purpose of the research,and offers the research content framework and research methods for the article.Second,beginning with the value components of the redesign of intangible cultural heritage and IP image design functions,in this article,we summarize the basic principles and methods of designing IP images by combing the developmental history and cultural connotation of Huaiyang Mud Dog,as well as analyzing the constituent elements and characteristics of IP image design,and further clarifies the value of IP image design in the development of Huaiyang Mud Dog.Thirdly,through field research at Huaiyang Mud Dog Studio and face-to-face interviews with inheritors of mud dogs,this paper analyzes the current situation of Huaiyang Mud Dog Shop operation and mud dog craft inheritance,and objectively analyzes the practical problems and shortcomings faced in its development,providing a realistic basis for the necessity of Huaiyang Mud Dog IP image design.Finally,a questionnaire survey was used to understand the design needs of Huaiyang Mud Dog consumers in the context of rural revitalization,and to construct the IP image design and derivative design of Mud Dog in the context of rural revitalization.Fully understand the era significance of rural revitalization,combine the artistic value and historical background of Huaiyang Mud Dog,comprehensively explore the design mechanism of Huaiyang Mud Dog IP image design in the context of rural revitalization,propose design strategies and principles for the IP image of Huaiyang Mud Dog,and hope to help the design industry create works that meet the needs of rural revitalization and development,At the same time,it can bring inspiration and new thinking for the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage and IP image design.
