This thesis starts with the redesign and application of the visual image of Nanfeng Nuo mask in tourism cultural and creative products,and systematically collects and collates the relevant works and thesis of Nanfeng Nuo culture to understand the current situation of Nuo culture.Through on-the-spot research on the Nuo cultural and creative market in Nanfeng,and by visiting Nuo face carving artists and Nuo Ban villages,it is pointed out that the essence of the current difficulties in the development of Nuo mask tourism cultural and creative products in Nanfeng lies in the phenomenon of "not knowing Nuo" in the new generation.The low public awareness of Nuo culture hinders the development of Nuo economy,and then affects the living inheritance of Nuo culture.The first chapter of this thesis introduces the origin and development of Nuo mask culture,as well as the rise and development of tourism cultural and creative products,and clarifies the purpose and significance of this study,as well as the research methods and framework.The second chapter introduces the historical background and cultural significance of Nuo mask,as well as the manufacturing process and characteristics of Nuo mask,deeply discusses the visual image of Nuo mask and its application in cultural and creative products,and elaborates in detail from the visual characteristics and expression methods of Nuo mask,as well as the development trend and prospect of tourism cultural and creative products.The third chapter collects the users’ attitudes and demands on Nanfeng Nuo mask culture and tourism cultural and creative products by means of questionnaires,which provides practical reference for future product development and promotion,and specifically expounds the design strategy and development value of Nanfeng tourism cultural and creative product development practice.The fourth chapter describes the design principles of tourism cultural and creative products,including the user-centered design idea,the design style that takes into account cultural connotation and commercial value,vitality,innovation,and differentiation,as well as the content of design methods such as summarizing classics,refining modeling,adapting to society,extracting features,multi-dimensional display,and integrating diversity.The fifth and sixth chapters generally analyze the characteristics and expression methods of the visual elements of Nanfeng Nuo mask,as well as the innovative application methods in tourism cultural and creative products,including the design case analysis inspired by the visual elements of Nanfeng Nuo mask.The author attempts to cut into the visual image of Nanfeng Nuo mask and the direction of the IP trend toy with high flow and strong fan stickiness,and redesign the visual image of the most representative Nuo gods in Nanfeng,including Kaishan,Zhongkui,Leigong,Big and Small Ghosts,Nuo Gong and Nuo Po,and then personalize the corresponding mask image to design five representative Nuo doll IP images.This study is of great significance for promoting the inheritance and innovation of Nanfeng Nuo mask culture and promoting the development of cultural tourism industry.
