The dragon and lion dance movement has been passed down and accumulated for more than two thousand years in the long history of Chinese people.It symbolizes the spiritual gene and cultural quadrant of the Chinese people.It is also the mighty sword and golden famous brand of China.With its constant change,the wind of Dragon and lion dance "blows" from the folk into the "ivory tower" of colleges and universities.Combining with modern sports,it constantly innovates and gradually hatches a unique university dragon and lion movement.On April 21,2022,the Ministry of Education further formulated the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education in the new era(2022 version),including dragon and lion dance events of traditional ethnic and folk sports.This standard sends a strong and clear signal for schools to shoulder the mission of inheriting traditional Chinese sports events and promoting national spirit.Dragon and lion dance as a combination of traditional culture,entertainment and competitive sports,the country’s continuous attention is undoubtedly for the university dragon and lion dance to build a fast track of development.Taking the development of Dragon and Lion Dance in Pingdingshan University as a case,this paper uses literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,field investigation,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to conduct a more comprehensive study and analysis of its development.The research results show that:1.Seizing the historical opportunity,Pingdingshan University took the lead in carrying out the Dragon and Lion Dance project among colleges and universities in Henan Province in 2005.Adhering to the original aspiration of "bearing the soul of the nation and promoting the spirit of China",Pingdingshan University takes inheriting and protecting the traditional sports culture as its mission and responsibility.After 18 years of development,the dragon and lion dance program of the school has achieved a leapfrog development from nothing to something,from something good to something excellent,from something weak to something strong,from the initial amateur training to a full range of professional elective courses,and has formed the principle of "Teaching with goals,promoting training by teaching,promoting competition by training;The development system of scientific research--teaching--competition--social service--international exchange has become the vanguard force leading the development of competitive dragon and lion dance in China and the forerunner of international exchange and communication.2.In the classroom teaching of dragon and lion dance in Pingdingshan University,the course of dragon and lion dance is incorporated into the curriculum system of sports skills for physical education majors,and the elective course of dragon and lion dance majors is converted into compulsory courses for majors and equipped with professional textbooks.On campus,students are highly liked by teachers and students,showing a high enthusiasm for learning.3.Pingdingshan College uses extracurricular activities to broaden the participation of dragon and lion dance.Through the establishment of Dragon and Lion Society,the "Second Classroom",and other colleges to jointly carry out campus cultural activities;Make full use of the media role of "Confucius Institute";Dragon and Lion sports teams have been established to participate in competitions and performances at all levels at home and abroad,thus enhancing the popularity of the school.4.Pingdingshan University Dragon and Lion Dance project has a relatively sound logistics support system,including the support of school leaders;Set up the ethnic traditional sports teaching and research section,special dragon and lion dance project steering group;Longshi teachers have a high overall level and a deep understanding of the connotation of Longshi.Perfect venue equipment;Fund injection channel diversity and other aspects.5.Pingdingshan College has accumulated rich experience in carrying out dragon and lion dance,which has become a characteristic cultural project of the school;It includes the support of school authorities,the dedication of teachers,the hard work of students,the stability of fund injection,the socialization of publicity means,the systematization of security system,the diversification of development methods and other efforts.But at the same time,there are restrictions on the input path of students,and the training cycle is long.The dilemma that the incentive mechanism of the participants in the Dragon & Lion project is slightly insufficient.6.Inspiration from the case study of Dragon and Lion Dance in Pingdingshan University: pay attention to the principal position of inheritors and enrich practical activities of inheritance;Strengthen the continuous construction of teachers’ teams and students’ reserve resources;Participate in inter-school and international exchange training;The coaches give full play to their own advantages and keep digging deeply into the cultural connotation of dragon and lion dance.7.In view of the constraints existing in the process of Dragon and Lion dance in Pingdingshan University,relevant suggestions are put forward: improve the curriculum evaluation system;Set up the major of ethnic traditional sports,create the enrollment conditions,optimize the quality of the current sports team students;We will improve the incentive mechanism,strengthen the treatment of relevant personnel,and give students the opportunity to be exempted from academic credits and recommended for postgraduate places. |
