Research On Character Image Building In Children’s Growth Documentaries

Children are the hope of a country,and the cultivation and education of children has been the focus of the whole society.Children’s growth documentaries take children as the main shooting objects,and present a real and vivid image of children to the audience by recording the joys and sorrows of children in the growing process.The shaping of children’s images in documentaries can reflect certain social problems and present the current living situation of children.At present,the content of Chinese children’s growth documentaries is more diverse,and the quality and quantity of works are on the rise.How to shape the image of children in children’s growth documentaries is the focus of this paper.This study takes children’s growth documentaries as the main object of discussion,mainly uses literature research method and case analysis method,and deeply discusses how to shape children’s character images in children’s growth documentaries.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter gives an overview of the concept of children’s growth-themed documentaries and children’s images.The author believes that children’s growth-themed documentaries should have characteristics of The Times,freshness and complexity.The second chapter expounds the theoretical connotation of the child-oriented principle and how to use the "child-oriented" principle to shape children’s images in the documentary on children’s growth.The author believes that filmmakers should use the "child-oriented" concept to shoot in the documentary on children’s growth in order to better shape children’s images.The third chapter elaborates the narrative strategy of children’s image building.First of all,the author believes that the relationship between narrator and narrative object is presented as instrumental relationship,emotional relationship and cultural relationship.Secondly,the author believes that children’s growth documentaries can reasonably use internal perspective,external perspective and omniscient perspective in the narrative process,and choosing a good narrative perspective is conducive to the transmission of documentary theme ideas.Finally,the author believes that storytelling construction should be properly used in the documentary narration,which is also conducive to the shaping of children’s images in the documentary.The fourth chapter describes the audiovisual language shaping of children’s images.The author believes that film and television language is essential in the documentary on children’s growth,and children’s images can be better shaped through picture language and sound language.The fifth chapter reflects on and looks forward to the documentary on children’s growth.The author thinks that there are some problems in the documentary on children’s growth,such as insufficient attention to children,unable to protect children’s privacy,and lack of positive guidance in the content,and thinks that in the future,the documentary on children’s growth will present the characteristics of diversified theme content,multi-angle narrative style,and multiple application of modern technology.By using relevant theories to analyze the current setting of children’s growth-themed documentaries and collecting video and text materials of children’s growth-themed documentary directors for research,this paper makes an in-depth discussion on how to better shape children’s character images in children’s growth-themed documentaries.The hope is to provide some ideas and guidance for the creation and research of future children’s growth subject documentaries,and to a certain extent promote the continuous development of Chinese children’s growth subject documentaries.
