Research On Humanistic Care In Geriatric Documentaries

As a developing country that “gets old before it gets rich”,China faces more severe problems of aging,such as large elderly population base,lack of attention to the survival value of the elderly,lack of discourse power of the elderly,stereotyped image of the elderly and so on.Similarly,in the field of film and television,the artistic expression of the media image of the elderly group is not comprehensive and three-dimensional,and the works on the theme of the elderly lack screen influence.Documentaries,as the “real mirror” to peer into the society,naturally bear the responsibility of objectively recording the elderly group,infusing humanistic care into image creation to “approach” the elderly group,guiding the public to the correct cognition of the elderly group,and replacing the “voice” of the elderly group with the perspective of documentaries.First of all,the introduction analyzes the research background and significance of geriatric documentaries,summarizes relevant literatures on geriatric documentaries,and explains the research content and research methods of this thesis.Finally,it sorts out the development process of humanistic care in geriatric documentaries,and has a preliminary cognition and understanding of the outline of humanistic care in geriatric documentaries.The first chapter of the text is the discussion and definition of the geriatric documentary and the concept of humanistic care.List the concepts of humanistic care and geriatric psychology used in this thesis;From the perspective of the overall structure of the documentary,character image building and social aspects,the value of humanistic care in the documentary on the elderly is summarized.The second chapter,with “people” as the core,starts from specific people and analyzes how to highlight the individual differences of the media images of the elderly combined with the documentary works of the elderly.Combined with relevant documentaries on the elderly,the media images of the elderly appeared on the screen are divided into three categories: active life type,secure life type and waiting for life type for summary,and three types of group characteristics of the elderly are summarized,and different ways of caring are implemented for different groups.The third chapter focuses on “emotion”,which is the inner driving force of humanistic care.From the subjective and objective aspects of the geriatric documentary,this part explores how humanistic emotion are integrated into each link of the documentary creation,and the main creator integrates humanistic emotion into his works.The subject’s sincere feelings when facing the camera;Audience’s emotional identification with the elderly group;And the social level to the elderly group of humanistic emotion transmission.The fourth chapter explores the image representation of humanistic care in the geriatric documentary from the perspective of audio-visual language.The connotation of humanistic care practical into all aspects of audio-visual language,analyze the transmission of lens language to the concept of humanistic care;How to use the composition and color of the picture language to broaden the depth of humanistic care;How to use voice language such as simultaneous voice and music to strengthen the presentation of humanistic care.The proper integration of audio-visual language and humanistic care can enhance the humanistic temperament of the film so as to move the audience.The fifth chapter is the summary and reflection of individual creation.Apply the theoretical experience and practical knowledge of film and television to create the graduation work “Sunset Scene”,analyze how to present the concept of humanistic care in the work,and reflect on the difficulties,challenges and shortcomings encountered in the creation process.In a word,for the study of humanistic care in geriatric documentaries,it is necessary to comprehensively apply the concept of humanistic care,geriatric psychology and relevant theoretical knowledge of documentaries and films,and analyze from multiple perspectives how geriatric documentaries should radiate the brilliance of humanity and show the real and objective elderly groups.Through the author’s research,the author aims to offer some inspiration and suggestions with more humanistic temperament for the creation of documentaries about the elderly,hoping to attract more documentary creators’ attention and approach the elderly group.
