The Construction Of Image And Humanistic Care For Special Groups In Group Documentaries

A group documentary is a documentary that takes a group of people as its subject,mostly depicting different groups of people against the backdrop of the society of a particular era,reflecting social life from different perspectives in a profound and extensive manner through the microscopic individuals in tandem.With an objective perspective,group documentaries present the living conditions and realities of a specific group of people,confronting a corner of society that is easily overlooked with a simple camera language,objectively reflecting the reality of the group’s plight and condition,and looking at the causes of their problems,sparing no effort to explore their social roots.When the camera focuses on a particular group in society,the creator of a documentary must have a calm,objective observation,but also a high level of empathy and the ability to fully feel the inner world of different people.Rather than simply reproducing the real world,the realistic image should provide a socially and culturally meaningful interpretation of the real subject.This creates a strong sense of empathy and emotional resonance for the subject of the documentary,and its unique human aesthetic becomes the greatest value of the documentary.Therefore,special group documentaries need to cut from the main character,but not only the sound of the status quo,nor stop at artistic attachment,and not to lust for curious subject matter and cheap sensationalism.The first part of the paper is divided into five main sections,the first of which begins with an understanding of group documentaries and documentaries about special groups,namely the background of the study,the significance of the study,the current status of the study and the research methodology.The second part explores the concept of group documentary and special group documentary,the definition and origin of group documentary and the definition of special group and the current research status of special group documentary.The third section further elaborates on the construction of the image of special groups in the graduation project "Luze Picture House".The fourth section analyses the expression of humanistic care and the unique view of humanistic spirit of special groups through group documentaries.The fifth part is a reflection and summary on the creation of the documentary "The Green Tear Academy",hoping that the case study will provide some reference for the creation of similar documentaries and leave a specimen of this special group of people for the times.
