A Study Of The History And Culture Of Jinghe Jangar

Jinghe County in Xinjiang is one of the main spreading places of the heroic epic Jangar.Because of the different geographical environment,historical and cultural information and folk culture connotation of Jangar in Jinghe,the narration of the plot,the description of the characters and the lyrics and tunes are rich in its own local characteristics,which has the advantages of inheriting and developing the cultural heritage of Jangar.Since the 1950 s,great achievements have been made in the collection,collation,evaluation and annotation of Xinjiang Jangar,as well as in the multi-disciplinary research focusing on history and culture,but there are not many works based on Jinghe Jangar.Due to many factors,such as our collation and publication,the lagging progress of scientific research,inadequate translation and publicity,Jangar in Jinghe County has not yet been able to exert its due influence in the international community and has not received enough attention.In view of the above,this paper takes the historical and cultural research of Jinghe Jangar as the topic,and mainly discusses from three aspects.Firstly,it summarizes the historical evolution of Turkut Mongolian people in Jinghe County,the human geography of Jinghe County,the spreading scope and text types of Jinghe Jangar,and the inheritance of Jinghe Jiangar and analyzes the historical and regional characteristics of Jinghe Jangar and the ethnic cultural relations influenced by multi-ethnic cultures in the inheritance process.Secondly,it discusses the folk culture connotation of Jinghe Jangar,including material folk culture connotation,life ritual folk culture connotation,folk belief culture connotation and the function of folk events,so as to discuss the folk culture information contained in inghe Jangar.Finally,it discusses the story plot,characters and lyrics and tunes of Jinghe Jangar,and analyzes its main features.
