As the "Hometown of Chinese Kirin",Juye County has profound historical and cultural connotations.Kirin has also been integrated into the daily life and blood of the Juye people,and has become an important part of the local material and spiritual folk customs,which has influenced Juye people generation a generation,At the same time,as a folk custom symbol,the "Kirin" has a close interactive relationship with the Juye people,society,and economy.Understanding its modern meaning,cultural characteristics and aesthetic value from a new perspective has inspired the inspirational significance of Chinese folk culture.The writing of the thesis is mainly carried out in the form of field investigation,conducts the production environment,form connotation,and folklore activities of Juye Kirin culture through comprehensive analysis and exploration,from the perspective of folkloric semiotics,this paper explores the dilemma faced by Juye Kirin culture and the path of modern inheritance.The paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion,and the text is divided into four chapters.The introduction part introduces the origin,research purpose and significance of this topic,as well as the domestic and foreign research.In addition,it introduces the main content and research methods,innovations and shortcomings of this topic,finally,describe the content of fieldwork briefly.The first chapter focuses on the generation space and development of Juye’s "Kirin" symbol.Firstly,it summarizes the natural geographical environment,humanities and folklore environment of Juye County,shows the natural geographical advantages of Juye County and the charm of humanities and folklore,and analyzes the relationship between Kirin culture and geographical environment.Secondly,it sorts out the development and evolution of the "Kirin" symbol,explores the process of the gradual deification of the image of the unicorn in the long history of thousands of years,and analyzes the deep cultural connotations of it.On this basis,it analyzes the development motivation of Kirin culture from the perspectives of the people’s "historical memory" and realistic portrayal.Chapter Two defines the direction type and cultural connotation of the "Kirin" symbol from the perspective of folklore semiotics.Borrowing from Mr.Wu Bingan’s method of distinguishing signifiers of folklore symbols,starting with two methods of verbal and non-verbal,examining the diversified forms of "Kirin" symbols,from folklore,poem notes,popular creation,and the remains of objects,etc.Expand discussion.Secondly,as one of the auspicious beasts,the unicorn and the Yellow River culture,Confucian culture,and Water Margin culture that grow together on the Qilu land containing multiple cultural connotations that blend with each other and are independent of each other.The third chapter put the "Kirin" symbol into the specific folklore activities.Firstly,introduced various activities in Juye County due to Kirin,and pointed out the huge influence of Kirin on the people of Juye.Then we selected a representative folklore activity-Qilintai Temple Fair Sacrificial Activities to conduct a detailed analysis,through the formation and development of temple fair sacrificial activities,organizational methods and personnel composition,ritual process combing,to explore the custom of Kirin-worship to Juye people It has far-reaching influence,and judges the property of the custom of Kirin-worship and its folk cultural function.The fourth chapter explore the modern development road to Juye Kirin culture through folklore semiotics.It is divided into two parts: development background and inheritance path.Juye County has made a lot of effective efforts to protect the Kirin culture,but there are still contradictions such as the representation of symbol development,the limitation of inheritance,and the homogenization of the application.This is a serious problem that needs to be solved urgently in the development of the Kirin culture.Insight into the modern inheritance path of kylin culture through folkloric semiotics,coordinate the progress of the symbol organization,production,development and operation,deepening of functions,etc.,and adapt to the new environment of the times,to promote the realization of a win-win situation between the Kirin culture and the locality.The conclusion part summarizes the writing content of the thesis.Juye Kirin has diverse cultural expressions and profound ideological implications,and it may still face greater difficulties in its development.However,the Juye Kirin culture,which has unique advantages in national culture,will obtain benign development with the help of many parties.
