A Report On The Translation Of Financial Text On Investment Analysis From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

Influenced by the attack of Covid-19,Deyang(Beijing)Technology Company,from the perspective of itself and its customers,makes a detailed analysis and forecast on the performance of various stocks during the epidemic,so as to help reduce their losses as much as possible.In addition to helping some foreign investors understand the situation,the corresponding translation work is also conducive to the exchange of domestic and foreign stock industry,which has a certain positive effect on promoting the company’s development and protecting the interests of its clients.According to Vermeer’s Skopos Theory,and the first translation principle of ensuring that the content and information of the original text are fully displayed in the target language proposed by Reiss,this report analyzes the translation strategies and methods adopted in the translation practice.The report is divided into five parts.The first part is the description of the task,which explains the background of the task,the type and the characteristics of the original text according to the content of the practice.The second part is the description of translation process,including pre-translating preparation,translation process and textproofing.The third part is a brief introduction of Skopos Theory,and its applicability to the translation practice guidance.The forth part is the case study.Combining with specific examples,this report analyzes and discusses the translation methods that can be applied to financial text translation under the guidance of Skopos Theory in the framework of lexical level,syntactic level and discourse level.The last part is the conclusion of the translation practice,summarizing harvest and experience,as well as reflections of it,hoping to contribute to the translation work of this field in the future.
