Research On The Cultural Integration Of Foshan Southern Wushu And Traditional Lion Art

Cultural integration is an important cultural phenomenon.Many cultural categories are integrated through exchanges and collisions.Foshan Lion is a typical case of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.In recent years,more and more scholars have paid attention to the research of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.People have gradually deepened their understanding of the inheritance history,fitness value and cultural connotation of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,while there is still a relative lack of research on the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.This paper aims to deeply study the cultural fusion of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,clarify the historical memory of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art in Foshan Lion,and analyze the interactive relationship between them and their cultural fusion motivation,in order to provide ideas for the inheritance and development of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.This research adopts the methods of literature,field investigation and body movement analysis,takes Foshan Lion as the starting point,uses the theory of folklore to explore the interactive relationship between Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,and analyzes the motivation of their cultural integration.The results show that Foshan Lion is the product of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,a new carrier of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,and a typical case of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.Research conclusion:1.The historical evolution of Foshan’s traditional lion art has gone through three periods: independent appearance period,cultural integration period and integration development period.In the independent period of Foshan’s traditional lion art,the traditional lion art was a kind of lion dance for the purpose of sacrifice.The lion was in the form of "big headed dog",and the dance method belonged to the nature of "dancing God dance",which was used to entertain God.The unique features of the traditional lion art continued from the Han Dynasty to the late Ming Dynasty.From the end of the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty,this period is the cultural integration period of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.This period can be divided into four stages: the first stage,the prohibition of martial arts in the Qing Dynasty-the integration of Southern martial arts into Cantonese opera troupes;In the second stage,Wu Sheng exposed that the Qing government suppressed Cantonese opera troupes;In the third stage,the new carrier-Southern martial arts and Cantonese opera culture are integrated into the traditional lion art;The fourth stage,National Rejuvenation--the apparent integration of "sleeping lion" into "waking lion".Among them,the prohibition of martial arts in the Qing Dynasty,the exposure of martial arts and the revitalization of the nation are the direct reasons for the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.Since the late Qing Dynasty,this period is a period of integration and development of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.After a long-term integration and development,the traditional lion art in Foshan has gradually evolved into the "lion and martial arts in one" Foshan Lion.After the integration and development,the Foshan Lion is quite different in terms of lion form and dance method,and the lion dance produced by people of different boxing schools is different,with different steps and footwork.2.From the structural analysis behind the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art,Foshan Lion is the cultural carrier of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art;The temple fair is a folk stage for the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art;"The combination of lion and martial arts" is the direct embodiment of the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art;"Patriotism" is the key factor for the cultural integration of Foshan Southern Wushu and Traditional Lion Art.3.The enlightenment to the development of Wushu: folk activities are the platform for the survival,performance and dissemination of Wushu;"Local society" is still the starting point of Wushu culture protection;The development of regional Wushu culture and folk culture by packaging and binding propaganda is the development and innovation road of Wushu integration and symbiosis.
