A Study On The Musical Style Andperformance Of Zhangzhao’s Piano Work My Motherland

The beautiful melody of "My Motherland" has left a deep impression on the hearts of every Chinese people,and the piano music adapted by Zhang Chao is even more popular with everyone.As a famous contemporary musician,composer,and pianist in China,Zhang Chao has rich creative experience and exquisite composing techniques.Through continuous exploration and research,he used the musical language belonging to the Chinese nation as the creative source,and composed excellent piano works that not only reflected the characteristics of the Chinese nation,but also reflected the spirit of the times.As piano players,when creating this work for the second time,we should demonstrate the connotation and value of the music and resonate with the audience.This thesis focuses on the musical analysis of Mr.Zhang Chao’s piano adaptation "My Motherland" from the perspectives of creative background,composer and work achievements,musical style,and performance skills;This work can fully demonstrate Zhang Dynasty’s understanding of traditional Chinese music,creating music that faces the masses,enhancing the cohesion of the Chinese nation,and endowing national music with a new understanding.
