| Feeling of Loess is known as a piece of Erhu music composed by Mr.Jin Wei and Mr.Zhang Xinhuai in 1987.Based on the traditional folk music material of Shaanxi Province,it is integrated with the creative ideas of the two composers to show the yearning of the Loess Plateau people for their hometowns as well as their hope for the future through Erhu.It was created at the prosperous stage of Erhu.The creative perspectives and types of musical works became richer and richer at that time.Not only did a new idea trend about “Root Seeking Literature” cause the literature circle to trace back to the tradition,but it also promoted the development of regional style creation in music.As a result,more and more people began to attach importance to the national and regional culture and attempted to show it through musical art.Feeling of Loess is a piece of of program music created in the cultural background.It is a piece of excellent music worth studying in terms of musical style or performance art.In this paper,it is attempted to reveal the internal motivation,style formation and performance art of the music through the research on creation background,form and embodiment of musical images,performance skills and emotional expression.The paper is divided into four chapters.The significance of Feeling of Loess is explained through the analysis of the artistic achievements and creative style of the creators as well as the emergence of “Root Seeking Literature” in the 1980 s and the arrangement of the teacher-student relationship in the first chapter.The overall structure of the music as well as its musical images in different themes is analyzed to briefly describe about interior structure as well as the emotional expression of musical style in the second chapter.The reflection of the musical style in the special sound types of“Happy Tone” and “Sad Tone”,the traditional Chinese pentatonic mode and the Shaanxi folk music elements is analyzed from the three aspects of scale,mode and melody in the third chapter.Some basic items to be concerned in the performance art of the music are analyzed specially through the elaboration of the left and right hand performance skills,the cooperation between both hands and the treatment about different music emotion performance in the fourth chapter.Through the detailed analysis of the musical style and performance art of the music,it is attempted to provide help for other learners in theory and performance.The understanding and performance skill of the music are improved through deep research. |
