The Study On Liu Xizai’s Poetics Thought

Liu Xizai is a famous literature theorist,educator and linguist.As an important figure in the history of Chinese classical poetics,Liu Xizai,who was born in the middle of Qing Dynasty and died in the late Qing Dynasty,has been handed down to the present by collecting the great achievement of ancient sages’ poetic thoughts.Mr.Liu Xizai "pure in character",his poetics thought shows a strong focus on heart and subject consciousness.On the basis of existing researches,this paper starts from the point of view of system,and takes Liu Xizai’s poetics as the object of study.This paper is divided into two parts: introduction and text.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces Liu Xizai’s life and works and sorts out the origin of Liu Xizai’s poetics.At the same time,it summarizes the research status of Liu Xizai’s poetics and makes clear the research purpose and significance of the topic.The second part is the main text,which is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly explores Liu Xizai’s theory of "true nature" in his poetics,and discusses the origin of "true nature" from three aspects,namely,psychology and true nature,and true nature and poetry,in order to taste Liu Xizai’s requirements for originality of articles and his emphasis on expressing true nature in poetic creation.The second chapter mainly analyzes Liu Xizai’s poetics from the perspective of "situation theory",and tries to understand Liu Xizai’s unique understanding of the relationship between situation from three aspects: describing things with emotion,holding things with ambition,"looking for" and "business".The third chapter explains Liu Xizai’s theory of "harmony" in poetics,and expounds Liu Xizai’s strong concern for the social function education of poetics to benefit people and the world from three aspects: the cultivation of morality and helping the world at the level of poetic application,the moderation of poetic method at the level of poetic method,and the positive sound and touching at the level of poetic teaching.The fourth chapter discusses Liu Xizai’s poetics "Theory of Law and antiquity",and explores Liu Xizai’s important understanding of "law and antiquity" and "opening new" by analyzing from three aspects,namely,literature and honor and law and antiquity,prolonging and preserving antiquity,true antiquity being good,copying antiquity being evil,having self and antiquity,and learning from antiquity and new self.This paper explores Liu Xizai’s poetics from four aspects: the theory of nature,the theory of situation,the theory of neutralization,and the theory of legal antiquity,in order to understand the spiritual core of his literary works more comprehensively and systematically,and explore the "living soul" of his poetics,so as to better understand his rich life experience and spiritual pursuit.
