The grand canal of the Tang and Song dynasties was not only an important traffic road,but also a flowing literary corridor.The canal scene in the literature of Song dynasty studied in this paper centers on the section from Bianjing to Yangzhou,including the Bian River,Huai River and Hangou,via Bianjing,Nandu,Suzhou,Sizhou,Chuzhou,Yangzhou and other towns.The introduction introduces the reason and meaning of the topic,the definition of the scope of the canal picture,the definition of the concept,the literature review,the key points and difficulties of the research,and the research methods adopted for this topic.The main body is divided into five chapters: chapter one is the Sui and Tang dynasties canal landscape writing overview.From the writing of Sui and Tang dynasty canal and the writing pattern of Suidiliu show the canal style of literary works.Chapter two is about canal and literary creation in Song dynasty.Enumerate the scenic spots along the canal and analyze the relationship between the scenic spots and literature.According to the content,the canal writing in the Northern Song dynasty can be divided into the description of the natural geographical environment of the canal,the description of the action,the description of the experience,and the expression of the feelings in the canal travel.In the Southern Song dynasty,taking the mentality of the Nandu literati,the literati of emissaries of diplomatic missions to Jin and the middle and late Southern Song literati as the breakthrough point to study the canal writing of the Southern Song literati in different stages.Chapter three,the canal city in the literature of Song dynasty.Taking the cities of Bianjing,Nandu,Suzhou,Sizhou and Yangzhou as examples,this chapter focuses on the canal,the city and the literati writing.Taking the canal’s influence on the city as the starting point and the literati writing in Song dynasty as the center,by selecting representative people,places,events and scenes,this paper explores how the literati in Song dynasty wrote the canal,how they rediscovered and shaped the city through the canal,and the changes of the times during the rise and fall of the canal,thus deepened to Song dynasty literature and the city landscape understanding.Chapter four,the literati’s literature creation about canal.The canal was an important transportation route in the Song dynasty.Many famous literati had experiences of the canal.This chapter will take Mei Yaochen,Su Shi and Lou Yao as examples to examine their canal activities and the characteristics of their literary works.Chapter five,the theme development and characteristics of canal literature.The theme of canal literature is discussed from four aspects: poems given to Zhuanyunshi and Fayunshi,poetry and discussion of canal works,the emotions of leaving Bianjing and entering Bianjing,and the belief on the canal.The characteristics are mainly analyzed from three aspects: the philosophic tendency,life in a boat trip,and the unique artistic technique in the canal literature works of Song dynasty.The epilogue briefly summarizes the canal writing in Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,and summarizes the canal scene in the literature of Song dynasty.These literary works reflect the historical features and customs of Song dynasty from different levels.This canal cultural property enables people to glimpse the prosperity and vicissitudes of the past.
