Notes On The Anthology Of Articles By Fang Zhengxue

The six volumes of “Anthology of Articles by Fang Zhengxue” were engraved in Osaka by the Japanese Noisuke Murase in the nineteenth year of Wenzheng(the ninth year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty,1829),it selected 120 articles written by Fang Xiaoru.According to the original bibliography contained in the first volume,the original version is from the twenty-five collection of articles compiled in the Ming and Qing dynasties.However,through careful inspection,it was found that there were errors in the bibliography,and some of the collections were not included in the bibliographies.I don’t know if it was a mistake by the editor,or it has been lost.In addition,some collections do not include Fang Xiaoru’s writings,so this article will compare and refer to the actual situation of their original collections.At the same time,Fang Xiaoru has a complete works of "A Collection of Xunzhizhai",a total of 24 volumes,and there are more than ten engraved editions in Ming and Qing Dynasties.They will also be collected and sorted for important reference books.The main reference books are Chenghua edition(Guo Shen’s engraved edition in the 18 th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty)and the Jiajing Zhejiang edition(Wang Keda’s engraved edition in the 40 th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty),if there are different texts,the other complete editions will be consulted one by one.In the collation method,the text is mainly collated by this text collation,contrast collation and other text collation methods,and the collation record is written.The annotations are mainly brief annotations.When historical facts or allusions are involved,they are added to the annotations to supplement,and the annotations are attached to the collation records.In addition,there is a topic analysis after each title and before the main text,explaining the creative background of each article,the meaning of the title,and the content of thoughts,so as to facilitate the understanding of the text.This paper is divided into three sections in terms of structure,The first section is mainly about Fang Xiaoru,his thoughts,and the research status of his complete works of "A Collection of Xunzhizhai".The second section discusses the life of Fang Xiaoru,the bibliography and editions of "A Collection of Xunzhizhai",the original version and content characteristics of“Anthology of Articles by Fang Zhengxue”,etc.When discussing the characteristics of the content,it mainly combined with the text to analyze his relationship between literature and Taoism,literature view,values and so on.The third section is the main part of the thesis,collating and annotating "Anthology of Articles by Fang Zhengxue",as well as the relevant tables in the appendix.
