Language and culture are interdependent and attached to each other.Teaching Chinese as a foreign language undertakes the important mission of spreading Chinese culture.In the international education of Chinese,we must be based on Chinese culture in order to promote the sustainable development of TCFL.The essence of Chinese traditional culture condenses the survival wisdom of the Chinese nation for thousands of years and is the spiritual source of the Chinese nation.To understand Chinese culture,we must understand the classics of Chinese traditional culture.Based on the summary and reference of previous studies,this paper explores the compilation of Zen story culture books.This paper mainly includes the following contents:The first part mainly analyzes the current situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the compilation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language materials and auxiliary reading materials,and summarizes the previous research results.The second part mainly combs and classifies the ideological and cultural content of Zen stories,and discusses the selection and analysis of the content of Zen story cultural readings.The third part mainly discusses the compilation and design of the reader,puts forward the specific compilation ideas and schemes,and gives the well-designed examples of reader compilation.The fourth part is to evaluate the actual effect of the reader.Reading sample and evaluation scale were issued to intermediate and advanced Chinese learners mainly through the online so as to obtain their feedback,and then analysis and evaluation of statistical results were given.The innovation of this paper is to introduce Zen culture to foreign Chinese learners in the way of compiling culture books,which fills in the blank of Zen culture books in the international promotion of Chinese,and provides new ideas for the culture teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and the design of auxiliary teaching materials.
