The Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province is one of the main settlements of the Yi people in China.The local Yi culture has a long history and has rich resources of Yi folk songs.With the economic development and the strong impact of foreign cultures,the Yi people’s ideology has greatly changed,and the living environment of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs has also been affected.Based on this,based on previous studies and from the perspective of cultural ecology,this article uses Lucheng Town,Chuxiong City as a field point,and uses a combination of field investigation and literature to place Chuxiong Yi folk songs in the context of Yi ethnic culture.In this article,the author explores the generation and development of Chuxiong Yi folk songs,how it adapts to the natural ecological environment and social environment in which it lives,discusses the current changes in Chuxiong cultural ecology and its impact on the inheritance and development of Chuxiong Yi folk songs,and proposes relevant effective protection measures.The thesis is divided into three parts:introduction,text,and conclusion.The text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter sorts out the historical development of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs.The entire dissertation must be based on a thorough understanding and systematic grasp of the historical development and artistic characteristics of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs.The second chapter explains the cultural ecosystem of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs.Any kind of ethnic culture is closely related to the cultural ecological environment in which it lives.The cultural ecological environment has an important influence on the generation and development of ethnic culture.The cultural ecosystem can be divided into two parts,one is the explicit part,including the natural ecosystem,economic activity system,behavior system,etc.The second is internal factors,including the knowledge system,belief system,custom system,etc.After explaining the cultural ecological environment,Chapters 3 and 4 discuss the adaptive development of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs in the natural and social ecosystem,respectively the natural ecological environment such as the geographical and cliimatic conditions of the Yi people influences the generation and development of folk songs.The genre and lyrics of folk songs reflect the cultural characteristics that are compatible with their living environment.The social environment in which the Chuxiong Yi people live restricts the connotation of the Chuxiong Yi folk songs.From the Yi folk songs,we can see the cultural characteristics of the Chuxiong Yi people’s production and lifestyle,folk customs,and social interaction methods.The influence of the cultural ecological environment on folk songs.The specific natural environment,material production activities,social organization and ideology will establish a balanced cultural ecosystem for it.The inheritance and protection of folk songs need to be based on the local cultural ecology.Environmental protection to ensure that the inheritance and development of folk songs can obtain lasting momentum.
