Objective(s):1.The similarities and differences between Dai and Han people in Yuxi in the incidence characteristics and prevalence of prediabetes and diabete were analyzed.2.The different risk factors of prediabetes and diabetes between Dai and Han people in Yuxi were analyzed.3.The changes of risk factors for the development of prediabetes into diabetes in Dai and Han people were explored.Methods:The research was taking the Dai people who underwent physical examination in Gasa Town,Xinping,Yuxi City in 2021 and the Han people who underwent physical examination in the Health Examination Center of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University,Yunnan Province from January 2021 to October 2022 as the research objects.After stratified matching,the data of their gender,age,measurement index and laboratory examination were collected for statistical analysis.According to the nationality,age,sex and FBG,the subjects were grouped and compared,and the subjects were analyzed by binary Logistic regression to explore the differences in the composition of risk factors of prediabetes and diabetes between Dai and Han people..Results:1.The prevalence rates of prediabetes and diabetes in Dai were 12.9% and 4.8%,while those in Han were 17.8% and 6.1%.The prevalence rates of men in different age groups were higher than those in women,and the differences were statistically significant..2.Among men of all age groups,blood pressure,TP,GLO,GGT,TC,HDL-C and PLT in Dai were higher than those in Han,while AGR was lower than that in Han.Among women of all age groups,blood pressure,GLO and PLT in Dai were higher than those in Han,while TBIL,IBIL,ALB and AGR were lower than those in Han,and the differences were statistically significant.Among young men,SCR,LDL-C and LYM in Dai were higher than those in Han,while ALP,Urea,UA and NLR were lower than those in Han.Among middle-aged men,LDL-C in Dai people was higher than that in Han,while TBIL,IBIL and ALP were lower than that in Han.Among men in the elderly group,SCR,Urea,NEU and NLR in Dai were higher than those in Han,while BMI,TBIL,IBIL,ALB,ALT,ALT/AST and UA were lower than those in Han,and the differences were statistically significant.Among the young women,TP,SCR,TC,HDL-C and LYM in Dai were higher than those in Han,while BMI,DBIL,TG and NLR were lower than those in Han.Among the middle-aged women,BMI,TP,ALP,GGT,SCR,TC,LDL-C,NEU and LYM in Dai were higher than those in Han,while UA was lower than that in Han.Among the elderly women,Urea,NEU and NLR in Dai were higher than those in Han,while BMI,DBIL,ALT,AST,ALT/AST,UA and TG were lower than those in Han,and the differences were statistically significant.3.Among Dai,age,TP and TG were the risk factors of prediabetes in young men,BMI and TG were the risk factors of prediabetes in middle-aged men,and no risk factors were found in elderly men.Among Han,age,BMI,ALB and GGT were the risk factors of prediabetes in young men,BMI,ALB,GGT and TC were the risk factors of prediabetes in middle-aged men,and BMI,IBIL,TP and ALB were the risk factors of prediabetes in elderly men.Among Dai,age and BMI were the risk factors of prediabetes in young women,UA was the risk factor of prediabetes in middle-aged women,and TG was the risk factor of prediabetes in elderly women.Among Han,age,BMI,TP,GLO and TG were the risk factors of prediabetes in young women,BMI,ALB,ALT,Urea and LDL-C were the risk factors of prediabetes in middle-aged women,and BMI,TP,ALB and TG were the risk factors of prediabetes in elderly women.4.Among men,age,BMI and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Dai,while BMI and TC were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Han.The independent risk factors of prediabetes in Han were TP,AST and GGT,and the independent risk factors of diabetes in Han were ALT/AST,ALP and TG.Among women,age,ALT/AST,UA and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Dai,while BMI,TP,ALT/AST and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Han.The independent risk factors of prediabetes in Dai were UA and NLR,and the independent risk factors of diabetes in Dai were ALP and NEU.The independent risk factor of prediabetes in Han was Urea,and the independent risk factor of prediabetes in Han was GGT.Conclusion(s):1.The prevalence of prediabetes and diabetes in Dai was lower than that in Han,and the prevalence of men in different age groups of all ethnic groups was higher than that in women.2.There were differences in risk factors of prediabetes between Dai and Han in different age groups and sexes.Age was a common risk factor for young men,and BMI was a common risk factor for middle-aged men.Age and BMI were common risk factors for young women,and TG was common risk factor for old women.3.There were differences in the composition of risk factors in the development of diabetes between Dai and Han.Age,BMI and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Dai males,while age,BMI and TC were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Han males.Age,ALT/AST and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Dai women,while age,BMI,TP,ALT/AST and TG were always risk factors in the development of diabetes in Han women.
