| Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of balanced cupping therapy combined with Lilaruin in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus with spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness,to highlight the effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of obese T2 DM,and to provide a new method for clinical treatment of the disease. Methods: From January 2022 to October 2022,70 patients who met the test inclusion criteria in the Endocrinology Department of Shijiazhuang Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given basic treatment, including health education, nutrition treatment, exercise therapy, subcutaneous injection of Lilarupeptide injection, the treatment group on the basis of the control group, combined with balanced cupping therapy,4 weeks as a course of treatment, both groups were observed for 12 weeks.Body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, fasting blood glucose, postmeal blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting insulin, insulin resistance index and total cholesterol were recorded before and after treatment. At the same time, the shedding events and adverse reactions were recorded and the safety was evaluated.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze all the data in order to analyze the efficacy of balanced cupping therapy combined with Lilaruin in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus with spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness. Results: The differences in general information and efficacy indexes between the two groups before treatment were not statistically significant(P>0.05)and were coparable.Post-treatment comparision: 1.Comparison of obesity efficacy:intragroup comparison: after treatment, the body weight,BMI and WC of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).The decrease of BMI and WC in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01),but the body weight was not statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of blood glucose efficacy: FPG,2h PG and Hb A1 c in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).The decrease of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).3.Comparison of insulin resistance: the levels of FINS and HOMA-IR in both groups decreased after treatment(P<0.01).Compared with the control group, the decrease of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).4.Comparison of blood lipid efficacy: TC,TG and LDL-C decreased in both groups after treatment, but increased after HDL-C treatment(P<0.05).The decreased levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, but there was no significant difference in HDL-C(P>0.05).5.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: intra-group comparison: the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the level of decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).6.Comparison of the total efficacy of TCM evidence: the total effective rate was 90.9% in the treatment group and 68.8% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Safety comparison: the incidence of adverse reactions was 9% in the treatment group and 34% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Balanced cupping therapy combined with western medicine is superior to western medicine in reducing blood glucose, improving insulin resistance, reducing weight, lowering fat, improving symptoms in obese T2 DM patients. It is safe and can be widely used in clinic. |
