Objective:In this study, narrative nursing plan was developed on the basis of the "two-line system" narrative nursing practice process, intervention was implemented in the treatment process of maintenance hemodialysis patients, patients’ negative emotions,self-efficacy and quality of life before and after intervention were investigated, and targeted narrative nursing measures on patients’ negative emotions,self-efficacy level and quality of life were analyzed.I hope that the program is effective and feasible, and can provide lessons for other disease narrative care programs. Methods:The study subjects were selected by convenience sampling method, and finally identified as 82 maintenance hemodialysis patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria from June 2022 to October 2022 in a third Class A hospital in Shanxi Province. The study subjects were randomly divided into control group(41 cases)and intervention group(41 cases)by random number table method, and the cases that dropped out and lost to follow-up were excluded.Finally,39 cases were included in the control group and 38 cases in the intervention group. Before intervention, general data survey Scale,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,Self-Rating Depression Scale,General Self-Efficacy Scale and The MOS Item Short Form Health Survey were used to collect patient data.During the intervention, those in the control group received routine nursing care while those in the intervention group received targeted narrative nursing measures on the basis of routine nursing measures. After the intervention,SAS,SDS,GSES and SF-36 were used again to evaluate the effect of intervention, and the influence of narrative nursing on negative emotion,self-efficacy and quality of life of maintenance hemodialysis patients was further analyzed. In this study,SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used for data entry and analysis.Statistical methods included chi-square test, independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test.P<0.05 indicated statistical significance.Results:1.After the cases of withdrawal and loss of follow-up were excluded, the final effective subjects were 77,including 39 in the control group and 38 in the intervention group. The comparison of general data between the control group and the intervention group showed no statistical significance(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of SAS and SDS scores of the two groups of MHD patients:(1)Before the intervention,SAS and SDS scores of the control group and the intervention group. There was no significant difference in SDS scores(P>0.05),which was comparable;(2)After the intervention,intra-group comparison showed that before and after the intervention, although there were differences in SAS and SDS scores of the control group,no statistical significance was found(P>0.05);Remarkably significant improvement was observed in SAS and SDS scores after intervention in the intervention group(P<0.05).Comparison between groups showed that it was statistically significant that SAS and SDS scores were remarkably lower in the intervention group than in the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of MHD in two groups based on Scores GSES:(1)The control and intervention groups did not differ statistically in GSES scores before the intervention(P>0.05),indicating comparability;(2)After intervention,intra-group comparison showed that GSES scores of the control group before and after intervention were different, but not statistically significant(P>0.05);GSES scores in the intervention group were significantly improved after intervention compared with before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups showed that remarkably lower GSES scores were found in the intervention group than in the control group(P <0.05).4.Comparison of MHD sufferers in two groups based on SF-36 scores:(1)There were no statistically significant differences between the control and intervention groups in every dimension and aggregate score before the intervention(P>0.05),indicating comparability;(2)After the intervention,intra-group comparison showed that before and after the intervention, although there were differences in each dimension and total score of the control group,no statistical significance was found(P>0.05);After intervention, each dimension and total score of the intervention group were significantly improved compared with before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between groups showed that in whole dimensions and aggregate scores, the intervention group scored remarkably lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Targeted narrative nursing intervention was carried out for MHD patients. From the perspective of patients’ self-experience,the score results showed that patients’ anxiety and depression were improved.2.Targeted narrative nursing intervention can improve patients’ confidence in dealing with problems in the course of disease treatment, thus improving patients’ self-efficacy level.3.Given effective narrative nursing intervention during the treatment of MHD patients, positive changes were observed in all dimensions of quality of life assessment, and patients felt that quality of life had been improved.4.The narrative nursing plan formulated based on the "two-line system" narrative nursing practice process is effective and feasible, which can improve patients’ negative emotions, enhance the level of self-efficacy and improve the quality of life.
