Treatment Of Herpes Zoster With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis By Self-Designed Formula For Benefit Of Qi And Pain Relief Clinical Efficacy Of Post-Neuralgia

Objective:In this study,we used the self-prepared formula Yi Qi Analgesia Formula to treat patients with postherpetic neuralgia with qi deficiency and blood stasis,and observed the patients’ visual analog scale(VAS)scores,Hamilton Anxiety Inventory(HAMA)scores,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores,the improvement status of TCM symptoms and the occurrence of adverse effects.To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of this formula in treating PHN with Qi deficiency and blood stasis,and to provide an evidence-based medical basis for the future use of the self-prepared formula Yi Qi Pain Relief Formula in treating PHN.Methods:A total of 60 patients with postherpetic neuralgia(qi deficiency and blood stasis)were included in the study,and were divided into control and observation groups using a randomized controlled grouping method,with 30 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with the self-prepared formula Yi Qi Pain Relief Formula,while the control group was treated with Pregabalin capsules,and the duration of treatment was 4 weeks in both groups.The changes in visual analog scale(VAS)scores,Hamilton Anxiety Inventory(HAMA)scores,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores and Chinese medicine evidence scores were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Study results.1.after treatment,in terms of VAS score,HAMA rating,PSQI score,TCM evidence and TCM essential evidence points,the intra-group comparison between the two groups of patients was lower after treatment than before treatment,and the difference in points before and after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.after treatment,in terms of VAS scores,HAMA ratings,PSQI scores,TCM evidence and TCM essential evidence scores in the two groups were compared between groups,the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically different(P < 0.05).3.During the treatment,the adverse reactions of the two groups were compared,and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.After treatment,the total therapeutic efficacy of the two groups was compared,and the total effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The Chinese herbal medicine self-formulated formula of Yi Qi for pain relief and Premarin capsules were both effective in the treatment of PHN.2.The treatment of PHN with the Chinese herbal medicine selfformulated Yi Qi pain relief formula was superior to Premarin capsules in terms of therapeutic efficiency,reduction in pain level,improvement in depression and sleep quality.3.The occurrence of adverse reactions in the treatment of PHN with the self-formulated Chinese medicine formula of Yi Qi for pain relief was less than that of Premarin capsules,indicating that the safety of Chinese medicine is relatively high.
