Observation On The Curative Effect Of Chaihushugan Powder With Pregabalin In Treating Postherpetic Neuralgia

Objective:Observe the clinical curative effect of Chaihu Shugan Powder combined with Pregabalin in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia,Randomized and controlled group analysis of Chaihu shugan powder,Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin,Pregabalin changes in pain scores(VAS score),sleep quality(Pittsburgh Sleep Index)and quality of life(SF-36 Quality of Life score)improvement between the three groups before and after treatment were statistically analyzed for statistical significance.The aim of this study is to provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of post-herpes neuralgia and to provide theoretical support for optimizing the treatment plan.Method:Seventy-five patients were selected.The cases were from the Wuhan First Hospital from September 2016 to January 2018.All patients conforms to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria,and exclusion criteria.They were randomly divided into three groups:group A(Chaihu Shugansan group):vitamin B1 tablets10 mg Tid,adenosine cobalamin tablets 0.5mg Tid,Chaihu Shugan powder addition and subtraction One dose per day and take it two minutes in the morning and evening;group B(Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin group): Vitamin B1 tablets 10mg Tid,adenosine cobalamin tablets 0.5mg Tid,Pregabalin capsule 75 mg Bid,Chaihu Shugan powder addition and subtraction One dose per day and take it two minutes in the morning and evening;Group C(Pregabalin group):vitamin B1 tablets 10 mg Tid,adenosine cobalamin tablets 0.5mg Tid,pregabalin capsules 75 mg Bid;three groups of patients in the course of disease,gender,age,pain score before treatment,two in comparison,the P values were all greater than 0.05 and comparable.One week was a course of treatment.The patient was treated for four weeks.The patient's general condition,VAS pain score,sleep index,and quality of life score before and after treatment were recorded.After the observation,statistical analysis was performed on the data obtained.Measured data were expressed as mean plus/minus standard deviation.Chi-square test was used for count data,paired sample t-test was used for in-group analysis,and independent sample t-test was used for analysis between groups.Result:Before and after treatment in each group,VAS pain score,Pittsburgh sleep score,SF-36 life index and P <0.01.After treatment,Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin group and Chaihu shugan powder group,Pregabalin group had P <0.01 in VAS pain score and Pittsburgh sleep score;Pregabalin and Chaihu shugan powder groups had a P >0.05 on VAS pain scores and Pittsburgh sleep scores.In the SF-36 score,between the three groups the P >0.05.Efficacy evaluation:After four courses of treatment,Chaihu shugan powder group recovered in 1 case,markedly improved in 14 cases,effective 9 cases,invalid 1 case,the effective rate was60%;Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin group cured 5 cases,19 cases markedly effective,effective in 1 case,ineffective in 0 cases,the effective rate was 96%;the Pregabalin group was cured in 2 cases,markedly effective in 16 cases,effective in 1 case,ineffective in 0 cases,and the effective rate was 75%;After statistical analysis,the P value of Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin group and Chaihu shugan powder group and Pregabalin group were all less than 0.05,and there was a significant difference;the comparison between Chaihu shugan powder group and Pregabalin group was significant.the P >0.05,no significant difference.Conclusion:Chaihu shugan powder,Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin,Pregabalin were used to treat postherpetic neuralgia and improve pain,sleep and quality of life.Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Pregabalin was superior to Chaihu Shugan Powder and Pregabalin alone in relieving pain and improving sleep.Chaihu Shugan Powder alone was not significantly different from Pregabalin alone;In terms of quality of life,there are no significant differences between the three methods.This shows that traditional Chinese medicine(Chaihu Shugan Powder)combined with Pregabalin can effectively improve pain,sleep and quality of life in patients with postherpetic neuralgia.
