| Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the clinical efficacy of the formula of Yishen Qingli decoction in the treatment of neurogenic enuresis in children(evidence of kidney deficiency and damp heat),and to provide new ideas for the treatment of this disease in Chinese medicine. Methods: From June 2021 to December 2022,a total of 60 pediatric patients with neurogenic dysuria(kidney deficiency and damp-heat evidence)who met the inclusion criteria were consecutively collected from the Children’s Clinic of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine. The random number table method was used to divide the group into two groups of 30 cases each. The test group was given the tutor’s own formula,Yishen Qingli decoction, while the control group was given Suoquanwan(《 The Complete Effective Prescriptions for Women》)combined with Bixie Fenqing Drink(《Psychosomatic medicine 》).2 weeks is a course of treatment for a total of one course of treatment. The changes in the points of the main symptoms(frequent and urgent urination)and secondary symptoms(tiredness and fatigue, irritability, lack of desire to drink, heat in the hands and feet, yellow and cloudy urination)of the children in both groups before and after treatment were counted and the data were statistically analyzed using the software SPSS25.0.After 3 months of treatment, children who were judged to be effective were followed up,and the recurrence rate was calculated by counting the number of children who had relapsed through their symptom scores at the time of follow-up.Results:1.General data analysis: There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, duration of illness and severity of illness(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Clinical efficacy results: At the end of the treatment course, the total effective rate of the test group was 96.67%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%.This data reveals a significant difference in the efficacy of the two groups(P<0.05),which is statistically significant, indicating that the therapeutic effect of Yishen Qingli decoction is better than that of Shrinking Spring Pill combined with Dioscorea Sinensis.3.Intra-group comparison of treatment effects: Comparing the integral data of primary symptoms(frequent and urgent urination)and secondary symptoms(lethargy, irritability, lack of thirst, hand and foot fever, yellow and cloudy urination)of children in each group after treatment with those before treatment,P<0.05,which is statistically significant. This indicates that the treatment regimen of both groups had an improvement effect on the primary and secondary symptoms of the disease and the patient’s condition was effectively relieved.4.Comparison of treatment effects between groups: The two groups of children were compared in terms of their scores of primary symptoms(urinary frequency and urgency)and secondary symptoms(irritability, tiredness and fatigue, lack of desire to drink, fever in the hands and feet and cloudy urine)after treatment. The improvement in the symptoms of urinary frequency, urinary urgency, tiredness, lack of desire to drink, fever in the hands and feet, and cloudy yellow urine was statistically significant at P<0.05,indicating that the test group was more effective than the control group in improving the above symptoms. In the treatment of irritability,P>0.05,indicating that the two groups had the same effect on the treatment of irritability.5.Recurrence: Three months after the end of treatment, the recurrence rate was 3.45%in the test group and 28.00% in the control group by statistical analysis. There was a significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(P<0.05),which was statistically significant. This indicates that the long-term efficacy of the test group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Yishen Qingli decoction is effective in treating neurogenic dysuria in children(evidence of kidney deficiency and dampness-heat)and is significantly more effective than Shrinking Spring Pill combined with Dioscorea.2.The effect of Yishen Qingli decoction on the improvement of the primary symptoms(urinary frequency and urgency)and secondary symptoms(lethargy and weakness, thirst and inability to drink, heat in the hands and feet, yellow and cloudy urine)of neurogenic dysuria in children(evidence of kidney deficiency and dampness and heat)is significantly better than that of Shrinking Spring Pill combined with Dioscorea Sinensis.3.Yishen Qingli decoction can significantly reduce the recurrence rate of paediatric neurogenic dysuria(evidence of kidney deficiency and dampness-heat),and is more effective than Shrinking Spring Pill combined with Dioscorea Sinensis. |
