| OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of stagnant acupuncture in the treatment of patients with windy shoulder(qi stagnation and blood stasis),to objectively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of stagnant acupuncture in the clinical treatment of windy shoulder(qi stagnation and blood stasis),and to provide a new treatment idea for the clinical treatment of windy shoulder(qi stagnation and blood stasis).METHODS: A total of 74 patients from the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and the Department of Pain of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were recruited and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.Control group: conventional acupuncture was performed.Treatment group: stagnant acupuncture needling was given on the basis of the control group. The VAS pain visual analog score,CMS shoulder function score scale, and Qi stagnation and blood stasis evidence diagnostic scale were applied to comprehensively evaluate the patients’ pain level, shoulder function activity level and TCM symptoms after treatment. The treatment course was 4 weeks, and the data related to the patients’ treatment were recorded before,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment, and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0,and the data of the two groups were analyzed to assess the efficacy.RESULTS: 1.This trial was actually completed in 69 cases in the end, including 35 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group.2.The two groups were statistically analyzed for gender, age, and duration of disease(P > 0.05),and the two groups could be compared.3.The VAS score,CMS score, and qi stagnation and blood stasis score of the lagging acupuncture group were statistically significant(P < 0.05)after treatment, except for the tongue and pulse image, which were calculated by statistical software, and the VAS score,CMS score, and qi stagnation and blood stasis score of the conventional acupuncture group also decreased significantly relative to the pre-treatment period, with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).4.The total effective rate of the lagging acupuncture group was 91.43%,which was higher than that of the conventional acupuncture group(79.41%),and there was a significant difference between the two(P < 0.05).There were no adverse reactions in either group in the trial.CONCLUSION: The experimental study showed that stagnant acupuncture was effective in improving the clinical symptoms of windy Shoulder Wind(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type),and its advantages were mainly in relieving pain and improving shoulder joint function. The treatment group had better scores than the control group, indicating that the stagnant acupuncture method is better than the common acupuncture method and can be recommended for clinical use. |
