Data Mining-based Study Of Professor Wang Xiuge’s Experience In Treating Diabetic Kidney Disease With Medication

Objective: In this study,we applied the data mining method to summarize the medication rules and academic ideas of Professor Wang Xiuge in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy,with a view to providing a certain basis for clinicians to use the prescriptions.Methods: The medical records of patients with diabetic nephropathy who visited Prof.Xiuge Wang’s clinic between January 2019 and December 2022 were collected,and their prescriptions were analyzed for gender,age,evidence,symptoms,tongue and pulse,frequency of medication,and sexual flavor and ascription with the help of the ancient and modern medical case cloud platform(V2.3.5),using its functional modules such as statistical analysis,correlation analysis,cluster analysis,and complex network analysis,to obtain the core The rules of drug use and prescription grouping.Results:1.Sex and age distribution: the male to female sex ratio was about 1.64:1,with slightly more males than females;the age distribution of the disease was mostly between 40 and 69 years old,with the middle-aged and elderly as the main disease areas.2.Symptoms,tongue and pulse statistics: the top 10 symptoms were weakness,foamy urine,dry mouth,frequent nocturia,blurred vision,numbness,back and knee pain,dry stools,poor sleep,and edema.The dark tongue with little coating and sunken pulse were more common among the tongue and pulse.3.Symptom statistics: Chinese medicine symptoms are mainly Qi-Yin deficiency with blood stasis and Qi-Yin deficiency with damp-heat.4.Frequency statistics of Chinese medicines: the top ten Chinese medicines in terms of frequency of use were Astragalus,Gorgonian,Salvia,Rhubarb,Dioscorea,leech,Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum,Shiwei,Ginseng and Poria.5.Chinese medicine efficacy,taste and meridian statistics: efficacy to benefit the Qi and generate fluid,clear heat and fire,activate blood circulation and dispel blood stasis,promote water retention,reduce swelling and remove blood stasis to clear menstruation.The medicinal properties are mainly flat,slightly warm and cold,and the taste is mostly sweet,bitter and astringent,with liver,spleen and kidney as the main meridians.6.Correlation analysis: The commonly used pairs are Astragalus-Danshen,GinsengAstragalus,Leech-Rhubarb,Shiwei-Dioscorea,and Gorgonzola-Shanzhu.7.Cluster analysis: The 24 HF drugs were subjected to cluster analysis to obtain two major class combinations.Class Ⅰ : Poria,Astragalus,Danshen,Ginseng,Gorgonian,Dioscorea,Shiwei,Leech,Rhubarb,Cornus.Class Ⅱ: Atractylodes macrocephala,Primulas chinensis,Veronicae,Dioscorea,Zea mays,Tu Fu Ling,Zhi Mu,Huang Lian,Ginger,Niubizi,Red peony,Wu Wei Zi,Peach kernel,and Safflower.8.Complex network analysis: The core drugs are Astragalus,Ginseng,Salvia,Rhubarb,Leech,Dioscorea,Shiwei,Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum,Gorgonzola and Poria.Conclusion:1.Professor Wang Xiuge treats diabetic nephropathy with drugs that are mainly flat,sweet and bitter,with more tonic,heat-clearing,stasis-removing and water-relieving drugs in the drug class,and the most liver,spleen and kidney meridians in the meridians.The core drugs are astragalus,ginseng,danshen,rhubarb,leech,dioscorea,stone reed,dogwood,gorgonian and poria.2.Professor Wang Xiuge believes that diabetic nephropathy is mainly based on deficiency of the essence and the symptoms.The deficiency of positive energy and malfunction of the spleen and kidneys is the main cause;heat,dampness,turbidity,stasis and other volatile evils accumulate into toxicity and block the kidney channels.The location of the disease is mainly in the kidney,and is related to the liver and spleen,with the spleen and kidney most closely related.The key to the disease mechanism is the deficiency of positive energy and the poison in the kidney channels.In the treatment,the treatment is to support the righteousness and dispel the evil,to balance the symptoms and the root cause,and to pass through the luo,taking the same treatment for the poisonous luo as the treatment principle,and to benefit the qi and nourish the yin,strengthen the spleen and kidney,and detoxify and pass through the luo.The prescription is based on the use of heat-clearing drugs,dampnessrelieving drugs,and stasis-removing drugs to eliminate the poison,and to take advantage of the situation;the use of tonifying drugs to strengthen the source of the poison,blocking the entry of the poison and holding it out.
