Purpose:This topic is to observe the clinical effect of "yin to yang acupuncture" in the treatment of lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis,to explore the effectiveness and necessity of treating this disease from the perspective of acupuncture manipulation and reinforcing and reducing manipulation,in order to provide a new treatment idea and method for clinical treatment of this disease.method:Seventy-two patients who met the inclusion criteria were recruited from the Acupuncture Department,Dermatology Department,Orthopedics Department and Outpatient Department of the Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to December 2022.They were randomly divided into treatment group(using "yin to yang acupuncture")and control group(conventional acupuncture),with 36 patients in each group. Both groups have a course of treatment of 1 time/day,and 6times are a course of treatment. After the end of one course of treatment, rest for 1 day,There are two courses of treatment(12 times).Relevant data were obtained by observing the VAS pain score,VAS numbness score and the size of lesion area of the two groups of patients before and after treatment, and calculate the effective rate of treatment, then the data obtained by the two groups were processed with SPSS26.0 statistical software to evaluate the treatment effect.result:1.Of the 72 patients included in the study,66 were actually completed,33 in the treatment group and 33 in the control group(2 in the treatment group fell off due to illness during the treatment,1 case was removed due to work reasons;3 in the control group dropped out due to patients’ own reasons).2.Before treatment, the baseline data(gender, age, course of disease),VAS pain score,VAS numbness score and lesion area of the two groups were statistically analyzed, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.VAS pain score: intra-group comparison after two courses of treatment: the VAS pain score of patients in the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);Comparison between groups after two courses of treatment: the VAS pain score was lower in the treatment group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).4.VAS numbness score: intra-group comparison after two courses of treatment: the VAS numbness score of the two groups was decresed compared with that before, and the difference was statistitically significant(P<0.01);After the two courses of treatment, the VAS numbness score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.01).5.Change of lesion area: intra-group comparison after two courses of treatment: the lesion area of patients in the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);Comparison between groups after the two courses of treatment: the reduction in lesion was lower in the treatment group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).6.Evaluation of clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 84.85% and 78.79%,respectively.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both "yin and yang inducing acupuncture" and conventional acupuncture can improve the pain and numbness of patients with lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis and reduce the area of lesions.2.The method of "yin and yang inducing acupuncture" is superior to ordinary acupuncture in improving the pain, numbness and reducing the area of lesions in patients with lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis.3.The clinical effective rate of the "yin to yang acupuncture" treatment of this disease is higher than that of ordinary acupuncture treatment, which is worthy of further promotion and application.
