| ObjectiveThis study was conducted to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the resumption of acupuncture combined with the infusion of acupuncture points in the treatment of periarthritis in the adhesive phase by comparing it with conventional acupuncture, and to provide a basis for exploring a more effective method for the treatment of periarthritis in the adhesive phase of the shoulder.MethodsIn this study,72 patients who met the inclusion criteria for periarthritis with adhesive phase were included and randomly assigned to the experimental group(resuscitation method combined with infusion points group)and the control group(conventional acupuncture group),with 36 patients each. Both groups received health education. Both groups were treated once a day,5 times a week for 2 weeks, for a total of 2 treatment sessions. Two cases were dropped during the course of treatment and the study was completed with 70 cases,35 in the experimental group and 35 in the control group. The overall data of the two groups were compared before treatment, using the visual analogue pain scale(VAS),the Constant-Murley scale for activities of daily living(ADL),joint range of motion(ROM)and muscle strength(MMT)as monitoring items. The VAS scores,ROM scores,ADL scores and MMT scores of the two groups were monitored before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy of the two methods in the treatment of adhesive phase frozen shoulder was objectively evaluated using statistical methods.Results1.Before treatment, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in general characteristics such as gender, age, affected shoulder and disease duration(P>0.05),they were comparable;in VAS score,ROM score,ADL score,MMT score and other follow-up indexes(P>0.05),There was no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment, which were comparable.2.In the within-group comparison after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.01);in the between-group comparison after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups(P<0.01).3.In the between-group comparison after treatment, there were statistically significant differences in ADL,ROM and MMT scores between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P<0.01),and in the control group there were statistically significant differences between the two groups after and before treatment.(P<0.05);in the between-group comparison after treatment, there were highly statistically significant differences in ADL and ROM scores between the two groups(P<0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference in MMT scores between the two groups(P>0.05).4.At the end of the treatment,5 cases improved,24 cases became effective,4 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective, with a significant improvement rate of 82.85%and an overall effectiveness rate of 94.2%;2 cases improved,12 cases became effective,20 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective, with a significant improvement rate of 40%and an overall effectiveness rate of 97.1%.5.safety:no adverse reactions were found in the patients of both the test and control groups in this study.Conclusion1.acupuncture restoration combined with acupoint injections and conventional acupuncture can improve both pain and joint range of motion, muscle strength and ability to perform daily activities in the healing phase of periarthritis of the shoulder joint.2.restorative acupuncture combined with acupoint injection is superior to conventional acupuncture in relieving pain, improving shoulder joint range of motion and daily activity capacity in the adhesion phase of periarthritis, and both methods are equally effective in improving muscle strength. |
