ObjectiveBy observing the clinical effect of combine pain point blockage and acupuncture therapy on acute phase of periarthritis of shoulder, the aim of the study is to explore the analgesic effect, improvement in function and clinical use value for the acute periarthritis of shoulder, so it can provide an objective basis for the clinical application。MethodThis test from2012.5to2013.5in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine orthopaedic clinic in the patients who has the acute phase of periarthritis of shoulder, selected randomly meets the requirements of60patients, and then divided into two groups, the sample proportion of1:1.By passing the strict standards of culling and falling, finally we analysised the curative effect of55patients who passed the period of treatment。 The pain points blockage combined acupuncture therapy is the experimental group。 There are28patients which11male and17female. The age range is45-60years old, the average age of50.5years. The course of the disease is1-3weeks, the average of15days.The only pain point blockage treatment is the control group。There are27patients which9male and18female. The age range is43-58years old, the average age of48.5years. The course of the disease is1-3weeks, the average of18days.The baseline conditions of the two groups were treated by analysis which reflected no significant differences in sex, age, course of disease, diseased parts and Meridian syndrome differentiation of TCM(P>0.05),so the data can compare. Both two groups are to be pain point blockage treatment, and the treatment set up to once a week, for three consecutive weeks. The experimental group plus the acupuncture treatment.and it set up to three times a week, for four weeks. The control group was given no other treatment after given pain point blockage treatment. After treatment for four weeks, we compared before and after the treatment the disease effect evaluation, the score of pain severity and the evaluation of shoulder function. After ended treatment two weeks and four weeks,we counted short-term recurrence rate, then compared. Finally all the results were statistically analyzed.Result1.Before and after the treatment, the experimental group is92.9%total efficiency, and the control group is77.8%total efficiency. The comparison of two sets of results shows that there are significant differences (P<0.05).2. Before and after treatment, through the assess of the partial shoulder pain and shoulder joint function, we will receive the data after statistics processing, which has significant difference(P<0.01)..3. After end treatment in the two weeks and four weeks, follow-up by telephone,we found that the experimental group total recurrence rate25.0%,and the control group total recurrence rate was40.7%.The data of the text has significant difference.(P<0.01).Conclusion1.Combine pain point blockage and acupuncture therapy on the acute phase of periarthritis of shoulder in the clinical treatment can obviously improve the patients clinical symptoms.significantly higher than the effect of simple pain point blockage treatment.2. Combine pain point blockage and acupuncture therapy on the acute phase of periarthritis of shoulder can cure periarthritis of shoulder to a certain extent, especially in good improvements on the pain and the joint activity, and the clinical curative effect is stable.3. Clinical practice shows that Combine pain point blockage and acupuncture therapy on the acute phase of periarthritis of shoulder in the clinical treatment has the characteristics of quick curative effect, high cure rate, and no side effects. This for the acute phase period of periarthritis of shoulder on the clinical treatment provides an effective method.
