Objective:This study observed the clinical effect of sinew-hanging moxibustion combined with celecoxib in the treatment of cold and dampness-blocking knee osteoarthritis, providing ideas and reference for the clinical treatment of cold and dampness-blocking knee osteoarthritis.Methods:72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups with 36 patients in each group. The control group was treated with oral celecoxib, once a day;On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was treated with moxibustion by tendon hanging,5 times a week; Both groups were treated for 3 weeks.General data, visual analogue scale(visual analogue scale,pre-and post-treatment)of the two groups were recorded in detail.VAS)and the Western Ontario and Mcmaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index Index,WOMAC score, knee flexion and extension motion,TCM syndrome score data, and statistical analysis of the data,to draw conclusions..Results:1.Before treatment, the data of general data,VAS score,WOMAC score, knee flexion and extension motion, and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were analyzed, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05),is comparable.2.VAS score: After 3 weeks of treatment, pain degree in both groups was relieved compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving VAS pain score(P<0.05).3.WOMAC score: After 3 weeks of treatment,WOMAC score in both groups was lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of WOMAC score in treatment group was better than control group(P<0.05).4.Knee flexion and extension range of motion: After 3 weeks of treatment, the knee motion Angle(extension and flexion)in both groups was increased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),there was no statistical significance in the knee extension activity Angle and difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving knee flexion motion(P<0.05).5.TCM syndrome score: After 3 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome score in 2 groups was lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving TCM syndrome score(P<0.05).6.Efficacy evaluation: After 3 weeks of treatment,22 cases in the treatment group were cured,12 cases were improved and 2 cases were not cured. The cure rate was 61.11%.In the control group,13 cases were cured,20 cases were improved,3 cases were not cured, the cure rate was36.11%,the difference was statistically significant by the analysis of the rank sum test(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The combination of sinew-suspended moxibustion with celecoxib and celecoxib alone are effective in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with cold and dampness obstruction.2.Compared with simple use of celecoxib, moxibustion with tendon suspension combined with celecoxib is more prominent in relieving knee pain in patients with cold and dampness arthralgia type knee osteoarthritis, improving patients’ daily living ability, improving knee motion and improving TCM syndromes, and has the advantages of safety,non-invasive and few side effects.
