| Objective:To examine and compare the clinical effects of a modified Shou Tai pill combined with progesterone in the treatment of early threatened abortion due to kidney deficiency,as well as the persistent pregnancy rate,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,and serum β-h CG,P,E2 hormone levels.To investigate the therapeutic benefits of a modified traditional Chinese medicine decoction Shou Tai pill and to provide objective evidence for clinical use.Methods:1.In this study,60 patients with kidney deficiency who were admitted to the gynecological clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2020 to November 2022 were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups(30 cases in each group).2.Intervention methods: the experimental group took the modified traditional Chinese medicine decoction Shoutai pill orally once a day,once in the morning and once in the evening;Combined with progesterone capsules100 mg,one capsule every 8 hours.The control group took progesterone capsules 100 mg orally,1 capsule every 8 hours;Both groups took medication until 12 weeks.3.Indicators of observationThe primary outcome is the ongoing pregnancy rate.Secondary outcomes included clinical efficacy,the TCM syndrome score,and serum levels of β-h CG,P,and E2.Results:1.Ongoing pregnancy rate:The difference in persistent pregnancy rate between the two groups was not statistically significant,but the test group was higher than the control group,which was still considered clinically significant.2.Clinical efficacy:The experimental group’s clinical effective rate was significantly higher than the control group’s(P<0.05).3.Chinese medicine evidence points:The points were significantly lower in the two groups after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05),and the points were significantly lower in the test group after treatment than in the control group(P < 0.05).4.The levels of serum β-h CG,P and E2 hormone:After treatment,the levels of β-h CG,P,and E2 in both groups were higher than before treatment(P<0.05);after treatment,the levels of P and E2 in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);The β-h CG level in the test group was higher than the level in the control group after treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:The modified Shoutai pill in combination with progesterone has a significant effect in the treatment of early threatened abortion due to kidney deficiency,which has a good continuous pregnancy rate,increases the levels of β-h CG,P,E2,and other hormones,and has advantages in reducing TCM syndrome scores and improving clinical symptoms. |
